Dunno if it's my fave pick since Walter Jones or Kennedy (I loved our Wagner pick) but it's definitely up there. If you watch some footage of Murphy it's pretty insane how low he gets with twitchy movement. I think he'll flat out abuse slow guards/centers.
"FIRST ROUND PICK" shark.

I hate the fact we didn’t have a 2nd round pick… Draft picks are like gold, Pete was not making me happy giving away draft picks… The Russ trade saved Pete from looking pretty bad after the Jamal debacle

JS was the one giving away the picks. Did you not read the report that came out what was it 2 weeks ago. JS pretty much had full control of that and the draft not Pete. JS said so himself.

JS is not innocent here people LMAO! Like i said a few years ago he was making TR type movies. Do any of you remember TR? GAH! We're a good team all we need is a band-aid or two! That was TR's motto.

You all should like this, One on one reps in senior bowl and Haynes is all over it.

Drafttek had Haynes listed as the #1 best guard in this draft. I hope he pans out because we need some studs in the middle of our Oline.

He played right guard in college. In the senior bowl they did play him at left guard but other then that he pretty much only played at RG.

JS was the guy managing the draft. Pete was the one defining the players he wanted.

I almost completely forgot about him and thought he was already gone in the 2nd round. I think we got two steals so far. If we can nab Van Pran today I'm going to be ecstatic.

Only having 2 picks in the top 100 hurts.
For sure.. I think we got lucky in the first round though ! Such a position of need for us and potentially the best defensive player in the draft… First 14 picks being offense was a blessing for us …

Pete always had the final say, that was one of his demands when being hired by Seattle… This is well known …

No wild picks so far but then this is the third year straight that the Seahawks have drafted sensible. Top 100 this season was pretty loaded so the team should have gotten good players. Lets see what they do today. Won't mind another OL, ILB would be good , a safety would make sense. Austin Booker edge would be a value. Looking forward to seeing what the Seahawks do today. I'm not interested in any QBs that are left, would not get excited about a TE.
