all we have to do is ignore how much he gets pummeled after a couple of innings and let him go 5+ inningsUnfortunately for the Rangers, he is very much not an innings eater.

me neither. i would just as soon release him but they won'tI will never understand what the hell the FO was thinking with that move.
Do you ever wonder if they really want to win or just be satisfied dangling the old carrot enough to fill seats?I will never understand what the hell the FO was thinking with that move.
Even if he does, he will be a free agent in a year and a half anyway.Hope he does not learn to hit and make us feel like " why did he not do that for us". Probably won't. The other two didn't.
I hope we will not need him then.Even if he does, he will be a free agent in a year and a half anyway.

Hard to know when we have no idea what FO is planning.I would guess so, but we'll see
agree that's why i would be surprised if they didHard to know when we have no idea what FO is planning.
That is the voice of a NTSU man. Seriously I would too. Seems as if they got what they wanted this year and waiting to finish up next year.Amazing how little the Ranger name have bandied about with any free agent still available. It’s hard to keep this much a secret. I’ll be happy to see us mentioned as somewhat interested in any one.

at this point we aren't talking big names, we're trying to talk about usable free agents that would fill needs at the momentNone of the big names fit our needs

give it a rest. there are at least 3 LF'ers that the Rangers should be interested in that would probably sign for a 1-year deal and 3 or 4 SP's tooright but you never really hear about the small names ahead of time
