Re pitching discussion.

To get an innings eater generally you do need a guy that can pitch to contact and this is preferable if your offense is good and he is pitching with a comfortable lead and you have good defense.

But when you need tough outs you need a pitcher who gets the swings and missed, strikeouts.
A pitcher proficient at both is perfect especially if your pen is weak

We shall see how this plays out with WA
