Man, Morton is a beast lol
Finished the 2nd inning and started the 3rd with a broken leg.

Must have completed the break on that awkward finish on the Altuve K
Reminiscent of the bloody sock. Takes guts
A lot of people hate Schilling but IMO there is good and bad in all so may be best to watch self first before pointing fingers.

Leaves podium

yes good comeback
probably need to preach to myself first re Corea.
That being said I am not totally against getting him but maybe it is a gut feel.
No use condemning him but I do think the players got off quite easy. That being said maybe not all the facts are out and it may be even worse than we realize and more rampant throughout the league

I think Schilling deserve HOF though

Let’s not underestimate a good role model in the clubhouse though but even more so in their preparation. Even a guy like Choo. Morton is a guy like that

Maybe a guy like Choo, who offered Banny his glove when Banny questioned a defensive miscue of Choo's. Lol

Good and bad in all. No one questioned Chios work ethic which was valued. His defense did decline no question about that

It just always makes me laugh that he had the guts to do what most every player wants to do at times. Lol

There is some speculation that there might be a freeze on signing free agents until a new CBA is completed. Let's hope that does not happen.

I vaguely remember us making a trade diring a work stoppage back in the 90s. We were allowed to back out of his contract after the new agreement and we availed ourself of that opportunity. The player we traded for, and then let go to free agency, was Jon Burkett. Later we would trade for him again when we needed him in a pennant race. Let's hope nothing like that happens again.

December 22, 1994: Traded by the San Francisco Giants to the Texas Rangers for Rich Aurilia and Desi Wilson.

April 7, 1995: Granted Free Agency.

April 9, 1995: Signed as a Free Agent with the Florida Marlins.

August 8, 1996: Traded by the Florida Marlins to the Texas Rangers for a player to be named later and Ryan Dempster. The Texas Rangers sent Rick Helling (September 3, 1996) to the Florida Marlins to complete the trade.
