Way too soon to write off the season man

Not writing us off...Just tired of critical players going down on my teams.

I still regret Mike Brown and Tommie Harris in 2006.

Not having 2nd half Cutler vs. the Packers in 2010.

Yeah, we might have lost those games anyway...but at least I could say "Well we lost...It is what it is" then play the what if game...

There is nothing worse than thinking you might have won, but will never know because your best players aren't all out on the field.

Chicago teams don't win enough for us to have the luxury of our top teams losing their best players for an extended time.

This is supposed to be a multi-year window, so there isn't some grand urgency, but every shot is still a shot...and the sports gods are not being nice to us right now.

Reynaldo Lopez had surgery on both eyes the other day. I can see the comeback pitch now - Lopez is ready for the bigs again because now he can see.

Rodon and Kopech delivering has really done a nice job in letting me forget about that dude. Until now. Y U DO DIS?!?

Billy Martin used to take pressure of his players by doing outrageous thing - Martin did those things on purpose, but LaRU appears to come at it naturally at this stage in his career.

This will make my friend @Jiddy's head explode - because it is an intangible thought, but the White Sox can play the Royals without any pressure because everyone will center their attention on Tony La Russa - it could be a good thing.

ya know, that whole thing about abreu should have been running instead of hendriks? it's bullshit! abreu wouldn't have run on that throw to second either. he's the slowest runner on the team. this play made no difference at all.
as much as i dislike tl as manager i can't be too upset about his not knowing the (stupid) rule. this is gonna happen when you change rules every year because some idiot somewhere thinks they can make the game better or faster.
the reason they lost is because their hitting (especially clutch hitting) sucks.

Billy Hamilton is only good for bunting, but he couldn't bunt because it was Hendriks at 3rd and not Abreu making a play at home plate. Because of that limitation the Sox tried to steal 2nd base and failed and then, of course, Hamilton struck out.

Well first off, welcome back, I have to admit I was a bit concerned, but the idmeister is back and at it!!

I can't explain the inability for you to post emojis, just as I can't explain that when why I quote you guys, I can no longer highlight in bold certain words or phrases for emphasis. I use to always be able to do this and in fact did so quite often, now I can't.
