So you are saying Pat Schurmur is not memorable? You're probably right, but we remember Ray Perkins!
I remember Rodgers and Brees and when they are in the hOF, doubt anybody forgets them

Reid was 130-93 with 10 playoff wins in 14 years, 3 NFFC appearances as well as a Super bowl. Nobody would consider that "mediocre".
Good for him. Nobody flew more “NFC 2nd round playoff participant” flags than him.

He only made it to one SB in all that time. In Philly, he’s another Sean Payton...without the ring. Mahomes is making him look like a legend. He won exactly NOTHING in Philly.

It’s been a loooooong 20 years for him trying to convince himself that Brady only won big games because of BB(while losing every big game on his own).

Meanwhile, the same guy will sing the praises of Rodgers and Brees over and over and over while watching them shrivel up when the spotlight gets brightest. It’s always entertaining.
@DirtDirtDirt Paydirt, what was your take on the performance of Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees in the playoffs this year?

Sean Peyton had Brees whereas Reid had McNabb and then Smith.

I think people rightfully view those situations differently. Especially when Andy Reid DID get a HOF level QB, he didn't miss the meatballs and had success immediately whereas Brees/Payton have choked regularly. Mahomes validated what was already true, sure. Reid is not a creation of Mahomes. That'd be a silly claim.

“Hall-of-Famer “ Andy Reid most certainly is a creation of Mahomes, though. He wasn’t getting there on his previous resume, that is for sure.

What was your take on Tom Brady’s performance in the NFC Title game?

lemme guess
Don’t deflect. I already posted above that Brady played a near-flawless 1st half and CERTAINLY put his team in position to win the game.

I asked for your take on Brees and Rodgers. Both playing at home and clear favorites. Thoughts on those individual games, and their career postseason performances, overall???

In most circles, mediocre is average, at best. An average NFL head coach is gone in like 5 years, with maybe 1 or 2 playoff appearances.

There is nothing in between mediocre and hall of fame in your mind? I think AR could have made it without Mahomes, but we will never know now. Sorry for your loss.

And I said earlier, Aaron Rodgers throws to crippled children, his team drafts QBs and backup RBs

Tom Brady adds Gronk, AB and Fournette to a loaded roster

TB has the best roster in the NFL, I don’t care who is favored, no way they should lose to GB with one offensive weapon and Drew Brees’ washed up chicken wing

cmon Chappee, you know what you’d be saying about a QB that throws 3 second half picks only to get bailed out by his defense over and over and over and over ?

I learned this one earlier today: "60 minutes"

He played like ass overall. I hope that trend continues.

Brady is the GOAT, he’s proven that over and over.... Montana did play when the league could smack QB’s more and defenses could be way more physical hitting receives over the middle, so that benefited Brady over the years, but regardless, Brady would have had success in any era, he’s as smart as they come... Tonight if he’s hoisting that Lombardi, it’s gonna be historical...

We’ve seen Brady do it over and over with no weapons at WR, too(other than the Moss teams, of course).

Rodgers put up MVP numbers this year. 4300 yards and 48TD’s!!! Suddenly he has nobody to throw to?? That’s BS. I’m amazed that you continue to support these perennial losers while bashing the winningest player in league history.
