John Stallworth
Lynn Swann
"Mean" Joe Greene

Niners had a stud WR.

Hahaha.

Off the top of my head, Ronnie Lott and the head coach also come to mind but you ignored them also.

I also ignored Lombardi and Noll.

Niners didn't have 8 HOFers to be is the point.

Actually no WR was ever more dominate in their era than Don Hutson.

Well, Don Hutson was dominating against factory workers. Back then, teams could afford to sign maybe one college football star and then they had to fill out the rest of the team with much less talented players.

You are trying to sell that silliness, really? You are telling me those teams didn't have former NCAA players on them, really?

Montana didn't have Rice for the first 2 Super Bowls, but that Niners offense was ahead of its time. Roger Craig should be a Hall of Famer, and I'm kinda surprised that none of the offensive linemen are in the Hall of Fame.

Are you trying to say that the quality of professional football players back then was the same as Rice's time?

Montana’s backfield in his first Super Bowl was Earl Cooper and Bill Ring. Ever heard of them? The dominant teams in late 80’s certainly had elite players. But that first ring with a bunch of nobodies and rookies was incredible.

Do you not get.....DOMINANCE OF ERA.....huh?

Jesse Owens won 4 Olympic gold medals in 1936, do we play that down because his times wouldn't win Cali State High School champs today?

It's always been about.......DOMINANCE OF ERA.

Don't forget Ricky Patton and Cooper was a converted TE.

I was talking about greatest football player. You brought up Hudson dominating his era. Okay, great, Hudson dominated an era when the NFL didn't have as much talent.

If you are going to talk about a WR being the greatest football player .........why? And Rice wasn't anymore dominate than Hudson was in hs day.

You can't talk any player being the best......football player.......it has to be best at their position.

Bill Dudley played QB, RB, WR, DB, kicked, punted, returned kicks/punts. Best football player????

I do think they had a leg up on the league with their passing attack, and like you said that rookie secondary was incredible.

Nope!!!!

All an athlete can do is be the best in their day. All this ..........things are different now......means nothing.

Would ya believe Bullet Bob Hayes would dust Tyreek Hill in a 100m? Hayes from the 60's.

I guess I should hate Brady for leaving the team after bringing us 6 SB wins. But I don't.
I listened to many fans saying Montana was goat and I'm happy to have the matter settled in INTELLIGENT PEOPLES minds!
Next time run it in!

Listen man, Tommy isn't gonna fuck you unless you dress up like his teenage son. Sorry. You can stop now.

Congrats again on that Bucs SB victory though.
