Haven't heard of it, looks hilarious.

Made it through an episode and a half of His Dark Materials.

If you decide to watch 30 coins ... pro tip: for the maximum wtf viewing experience, dont watch the official trailer because it gives away what the craziness of the opening scene (pre opening credits) was all about

Lol, ordered to series:
La Brea stars Natalie Zea (The Detour, Justified) as a mother whose family is ripped apart when a massive sinkhole opens in Los Angeles, separating Zea’s character and her son from her husband and daughter. “When part of the family find themselves in an unexplainable primeval world, alongside a disparate group of strangers, they must work to survive and uncover the mystery of where they are and if there is a way back home,” per the official description.

^how they didn't name this "Sink Hole" or "Mommy Fell In A Hole" I'll never know.

WandaVision is odd but good. Olsen is great, switching from over the top early sitcom style acting to troubled then back again. She's great.

Wandavision pretty freaking weird so far.
Something is building....

Only 2 episodes out so far, which sucks.
This would be a binge kind of show

agreed. Case in point, watching episode 2 helped form an idea of what the heck might have happened in that bizarre moment from episode 1. Just like episode 3 and 4 will probably solve why wanda was wearing an outfit from a different decade in episode 2

episode one left me wanting more. I was surprised it was so short. 7 minutes of credits. I scrolled through it thinking there has to be some post credits scene but nada. Saw that there is a Quebecois french dubbed version of the show though ... oh Disney lol

We scrolled through looking for Nick Fury as well.
2 minutes of intro, 22 minutes of show, and 7 minutes of credits.

And then wait a week.... The Disney experience

Going to be a show that requires patience to let the story roll out. They have a plan to set up the next phase of mcu with this show. I'm sure it's going to be a very good payoff.

Lol I did the same thing with the credits expecting more. So much time.
I think my wife often watches the Marvel stuff just because I want to, not that she doesn't enjoy a lot of it. This one at the end of episode 2 she was frustrated that they didn't put them all up.
I'd be ok if Wanda wore her magic show outfit the rest of the series.
My theory:
I think Wanda is falling apart from her grief and constructed this world in her head (or some reality, in think she is supposed to be that powerful) to live the happy life she wanted. I wonder if her and her brother only had old American sitcoms on tv where they were growing up? If that is the case they better wake her very carefully.

Not sure why I used the tags, just guesses.

I think you are right and she is retreating Into her mind and as a result she will cause an alternate reality through her grief. Her powers came from the mind stone didn't they?

I am not sure, I dont know a lot about her but I did something from Marvel a few years ago that referenced her power. Something like she got fed up and said "no more mutants" and most of the mutants in the world lost their powers. I think she also went insane a few times.

In Endgame, her and Danvers were the only ones doing real damage to Thanos.

The Nightstalker documentary on Netflix was pretty great. In my opinion he wasn't a very good person but to be fair with these documentaries it's easy for them to portray people in an unflattering light.

She would have been shamed (and kinda was in the episode) just for the pants she wore to the party planning meeting lol. Both go to the point that she forgets or doesnt really know the eras that shes “living” in

ive seen both the theories you guys have brought up above

that she moves between these times when bad things are about to happen so she can stop them from happening

its public knowledge that each episode is a new decade. Episode 1 and 2 were 50s and 60s. If they keep to that formula the final episode is in the 2030s

I did not know about the decade thing. Weird what they dont care about people knowing and what they do. Supposedly Emma Caulfield couldnt even announce she was in in until a few days before they aired.

Yah ... highlighting the sitcoms through the decades. Look for twins born into the show that end up always saying “you got it dude” all the time :thumb:

this would be a bit much lol

As CinemaBlend's own Sean O'Connell brings up at the end of the clip, the '80s and early '90s were so well known for "Very Special" episodes that sidestepped comedic storylines in order to focus on real-world issues. That's where viewers got to see a lot of those "teaching moments" that Elizabeth Olsen mentioned. I don't see the creative team writing about Vision getting AIDS or one of their impending twins getting caught smoking weed at school, so it'll be interesting to see what kinds of tropey moments show up to accompany the sad "wah-nah-nah" music. Wanda's life certainly has more than enough tragedies to account for.
