O. J. Howard trade?

Former NFL executive Michael Lombardi was told by a league source that the Buccaneers are looking to trade O.J. Howard.
"I think Howard's got a great name, but I think there's an instinctive issue going on," Lombardi said on his most recent episode of The GM Shuffle. "I think he's going to be available." Lombardi also said he wouldn't be surprised if the 25-year-old is dealt during next week's draft. This isn't the first time Howard's been speculated to be on the block as the Patriots reportedly attempted to acquire his services during last year's trade deadline. Either way, this storyline wore out its welcome long ago. A fresh start may be best for both sides.

OJ howard hasnt really proved a whole lot, except that he was a first rounder, who gets hype every single year. Hayden hurst was a first rounder too...

I don't think we are getting a 2nd for TW. If Tampa says OJ and a 3rd we should jump on it. I would do OJ and a 4th.

I put a 3rd round value on oj. He had a good rookie year. so oj and a 3rd should do it. two thirds equal a 2nd.

tough one here, I don't think OJ is a good fit in Arians offense.
I honestly would have traded TW for Hayden Hurst.
Not pressed for OJ, but yeah OJ and a 3rd for TW works for me...i think that was thrown out there

Whoa, Gronk is going to TB??? That seems to open up TB to trading Howard. Getting Howard could be a coup for the Skins. Yeah, he's been somewhat disappointing, but 15.5 yards a catch for a 6'6 250 lb TE... zoiks.

Looking at TB's situation, there worst contract is their LT - Donovan Smith Every NFL Team's Worst Contract Heading into the Offseason, and he's guaranteed 14.5 mil this season (nothing's guaranteed in 2021). With Brady and Gronk there, Trent would be a great fit, and they can afford him if we take Smith off their hands. Seems like a perfect fit for both teams - Trent for OJ Howard and Donovan Smith.
