I don't remember a Hans Solo movie in the theaters. Could you kindly give me the title so I can check it out for myself?

I've only watched one trailer, but seriously, how many confrontations are there with Rae and dipshit...errr... emo boy....errr... Kylo? From the screen shots in this thread, it looks like at least three different scenes. She's kicked his ass in every fight, so not sure why we should be in the least bit on edge about who is going to win.

Ep8 ends in the exact plot point as Ep7. That’s astounding and impossible to fix in one film.
Also, the first two movies are so disjointed, and together so aimless, that nothing could possibly be a ‘resolution’ that wouldn’t come off as cobbled-together, aloof, non-sequiter, or all three.

Here it is for those interested. Probably the biggest issue I see is they pack in A LOT of story content. It's almost impossible to do that amount justice in one movie, which really just speaks to how lacking the prior two movies were in that respect. Some of this stuff will probably be better than it reads and I think there's some good ideas here, but like I said, its a lot and I'm skeptical that there's enough time to make it come off perfectly

I do have one small hope for this movie:

there’s a way for force-ghost Luke to redeem his character from the shitty job Rian Johnson did in evolving it.

It has to be done in a way where it emphasizes the optimism and compassion which is at the core of his character, and it also has to be consequential to the plot WITHOUT being pivotal. If it’s too pivotal, then this trilogy is about him and not our main characters.
It’ll be tough to ride this line, but I think it can be done.
