Having the best record in November means very little.

True.

but always a good spot to be in.

And we are getting deep enough into the season that they are looking like near locks to be a top 3 seeds with a good shot at #1.

Wouldn’t it be kind of fun to see a Clippers/Lakers WCF?

Would the NBA still schedule 3 off days for travel?

They will likely be a top 3 seed but I still wouldn't be bragging about the best record on November 28th. The one team you played close to your level beat you lol. Schedule been soft and they did what title contenders should do with a weak schedule. As for top 3 seed, I'm guessing it will be them, Denver, and Houston. Not sure in what order.

Knowing how silly the NBA is, they'll find a way to grant 3 days off at some point in that series even though there is no traveling

We still didn't even reach the quarter point of the NBA season

There's only 4.5 months of regular season basketball left and nearly 7 months away from finding out who the champ is

Exactly. And I'm calling it now. The Cleveland Indians will be 2020 W.S. champs!

You don't think the Clips will be a top 3 seed?

If the Heat were 17-2 BKS wouldn't be pumping up his team?

GTFO.

Nope not with Kawhi not playing B2B. Assuming they're going to rest PG and others at times as well. Struggled to beat Memphis last night with no Kawhi. I think they're a 52-54 win team due to how frequently they'll rest Kawhi. Think Lakers, Nuggets, and Rockets all win 55+ games

GTFO.

Heat aren't a title contender Lakers are

That makes a different.

Heat O/U was about 43.

Lakers O/U was in the low 50's

I'll be happy as hell if they were 17-2 but I wouldn't be bragging in November. NBA season ends in April for a reason.

You're bragging with 60+ games left in the regular season lol

I've never seen bksballer89 overly pimp-up the Heat. Pump the breaks a little. I realize the excitement you have for your Lakers, and rightfully so. But there's just too much of the season left to be bragging about them in November.

I think Laker fans should be excited because they do look good.

But the Lakers aren't a 70 win team. They've lost to 2 of 4 good teams they've played so far. Their best win was against the Heat.

I would say Dallas was their best win. Heat game was in LA. Dallas was a road game that they really had to grind out but yeah that was my main point. They barely played any really good teams yet which is why I'm looking forward to how they do in December. They play Dallas multiple times, Clippers, road games in Denver, Utah, Indy, Milwaukee, and Portland (2x).

I'm much more impressed with the Bucks 15-3 record TBH

Just a reminder.....

The Lakers still have the best record in the League.

*silently stares at posters who have gone radio silent*
Under 20 games?

Lmfao.

Guess who had the best record this time last year?

We went home 1st round.

If you play us, you will too...lol

Oh, they look terrific.

But, we aren't even 20 games in, Ffs.

I don't want a Laker vs Clippers WCF.

I want a 1st round matchup.

I don't care if it means we finish 4th and 5th, them finishing 3rd, us 6.

I want their Summer Vacation to start early and at the hands of the Clippers.

The Lakers are so much better than I anticipated.

I think I'm one of the only ones who thought they'd win 60 or close to it.

But, LeBron nor AD can have a bad game in the playoffs, as currently constructed, and them win against the Bucks, Clippers, Denver, Philly....imo

They need to pickup another contributor or hope one of those 4 teams have a injury.

Outside of Green and Kuz, the supporting cast is exactly who I thought they were.

I will admit that Howard has been great.

With that said, with LeBron, there is always a chance.

But, the force feeding Davis won't fly against the 4 teams mentioned.

Any other team?

Yeah, I'd take the Lakers.
