I wish we weren't number 1 and I also wish our QB wasn't considered for the Heisman too....that way we could concentrate on the remaining games to be played.

If Ohio St. Gets pass Penn St and Mich. you guys are in. If we meet in the playoffs we will kick the living shit out of the Buckeyes...again!

But would it knock either out of the playoff picture?

Why is Bama still hanging around?

Looks like the CFP committee wants two SEC teams in the playoffs.

If LSU beats Georgia in the SEC CG, Georgia gets left out and Bama is in.

If Georgia wins the SEC CG, Bama gets left out and LSU is in with 1-loss.

There is no other reason Bama has stayed around the top.

They aren't the defending champs, they can't win their conference much less the division they are in....so why are they still ranked so high?

Makes no sense except to ensure two SEC teams make the playoffs.

Am I wrong? Please explain...

Nope it wouldn't knock them out. UGA would be at 4, if they win they are in but if LSU loses a close game to the #4 team they would likely still be in most likely: they would have a head to head over Bama, they would have a better resume than Oklahoma, Utah and Oregon...they would just slide to the #4 slot most likely.

I don't necessarily agree Bama gets in though if UGA loses. I could see another team jumping them. Tua being out makes a huge difference. Unless they dominate Auburn, I still see it being very difficult for Bama getting in.

I think this all but confirms the playoffs as LSU, OSU, Clemson and PAC 12 champ...unless some crazy shit happens
I wonder if OSU can pass LSU still. do they need to keep winning by 4 TDs+ to do so?

I think it's pretty clear at this point that OU is not getting in unless some chaos goes on ahead of them, The Committee just does not like them or the Big 12 for whatever reason.

Still no 1-loss CCG winner has been left out over another 1-loss winner. But agree in this instance it would not surprise me.

LSU gets left out if Oregon and Utah both go into the Pac title game with 1 loss IMO.

That sets a strange precedent if they put LSU in over 1 loss Oregon/Utah in that situation. Basically says the SEC championship game didnt matter at all. And that really neither did the PAC title game, since 1 loss beating 1 loss did nothing for Oregon/Utah except get a seat behind a LSU team that just lost a championship game.
