Lets see what adventures this game brings. Maybe they can take Brady's knees out early in the game.
There you go kid, wish injury upon pro athletes. You’re a fucking joke.Lets see what adventures this game brings. Maybe they can take Brady's knees out early in the game.

So running the ball only 37% of the time not helping your oline and D is an execution problem and not poor coaching? News to me same old same old…all of these new coaches don’t get it. You see the good teams establish the run but the Fins with their awesome oline love to toss it around all game. Make themselves one dimensional. 3 and out every series gassing the D. Patsies have Brady and guess what they run the fucking ball meanwhile they ask Fitz or before him tanny to be Marino. To add to this you have 14 new players with an oline who don’t know each others names grab a brain and give them a chance to succeed. Rant over but I’d tell the OC if you don’t balance things especially being a defensive coach you will be gone. Tell the same thing to the new guy until you can find a guy who gets it not some madden PlayStation wannabe….
These coaches all believe they are playing madden football. No one gets tired you can pass every down. D will never tire out being on the field all day. I don't care what team you are you can't do it. I'm watching Indy and they get it young QB and they are running it staying in the game.Thats what I am saying.
First, it seems insignificant to some, but I think for a team in a situation like the one the Dolphins are in - and with them saying they want to set the tone - you lose credibility in saying that when you decide to differ the opening kickoff.
When the Dolphins were on offense they simply refused to establish the run - which I believe will be an on-going problem as long as they start Fitzpatrick as much as it was a problem with Gase calling plays the last few years. He is known and thought of as a gunslinger -- so thats what he will be asked to do first and foremost, regardless if its in the best interest of the team or not.
Maybe their odds of winning the game would not have changed much - but the Dolphins would've certainly kept themselves in the game longer and been more competitive had they attempted to establish the run more.
I just don't think establishing the run or controlling the clock was as important to them as I thought it would be in this game -- We didn't even use the FB or a second RB in formations as much as I thought we would in this game.
I just think that the offense ditched their offensive game plan before it even got a chance. Lets see if it is used as a learning experience moving forward in this rebuild.
Tua could have played today with the same result. People need to understand that the lines need to be fixed first or you will have the same results. Especially if your coaching is no better than gase, philbum, etc...I intended to post this here:

Since a lot of people in here wanted the Fins to draft Kyler Murray, I thought it would be newsworthy to update on his week 1 progress: Entering the 4th quarter against the Lions - His team is down 17-6. His state line is: 9/25 for 70 yards an INT and 4 sacks for a QB rating of 27.9. He also has a run for 6 yards.
So there is that.

Wow! With every post you make it more and more evident how clueless you are. Tua is a run first QB? Why because he isn’t white? Have you ever watched him play or minimally looked at his box scores? He is a pocket passer with mobility. Please, I beg you to do some research before shooting off posts about players you know nothing about. You keep exposing yourself as nothing more than a homer that doesn’t really know football. Just a glorified cheerleader for the Dolphins and players from “Da U” who have been steadily declining in the league.Exactly.
And I want to be clear about something I have said before, but is worth repeating for the "Tank for Tua" clowns and those that wanted the Fins to draft Murray -- Nothing against either of those two. Both of those QBs are talented in their own right. The problem is, this is the NFL -- those guys are run first QBs. In this league, there are times you need to be able to stand in the pocket to make some plays.
Of course, it's great to have a QB with mobility to make the offense more versatile, etc - but there is also a danger to it that could result in durability issues.
Even more, Kyler and Tua would fall into what we know as "system QBs" -- for them to succeed they would have to be able to play in a system that is tailored to their skill set otherwise they may end up being useless. Luckily, for Kyler, he ended up with a former college coach of his.
As it stands, the Dolphins offensive scheme does not fit Tua, nor would it have been a good fit. And, as much as coaches need to be able to set up their play calling to their players abilities - players need to also be able to adjust and develop into players that can play to their coaches play calling standards.
Guys like Kyler and Tua have the potential to turn into quality NFL QBs - but I just don't think they are franchise changing QBs as some think due to their limitations in what it takes to run a pro-style offense.
So, if you aren't convinced with Fitzpatrick being the short-term answer - or Rosen being the long-term answer, thats fine. But I would urge the "Tank for Tua" crowd to check out other QBs in CFB that will be better fits for what the Dolphins want to do as a team and offense.
The college football season is only a couple of weeks in -- so there is plenty of time and meaningful games to watch and check out the talent for the next draft.
Brady could have played for them today with more or less the same result. I don't care who is in there bad oline and playcalling it's hard to succeed. They need to fix this in order to turn things around.Exactly.

I agree. However, the o-line wasn’t addressed intentionally. Just accept that this a tank job season and it will be a lot easier to handle.Brady could have played for them today with more or less the same result. Did you happen to see Murray lead his team back in the 4th to tie the game with under a minute to go? Let me know when you remove your foot from your mouth sonny.I intended to post this here:

They are void of talent for sure but I'd still like to see them coached well and the players they have improve. Sure it's nice to pick number one but if every current players stinks they are done for and it won't be a reasonably quick fix. I just want to see improvement week to week...I agree.
