You obviously love Kuzma. Eddie Jones was better, though, and would fit better with this AD and Lebron team.

Compare stats after two years in the NBA and come back to me.

That wasn't the OP's question.

You claimed Eddie Jones was better. So compare their stats after two years and tell me if you believe that.

Surely the better player should be on the team, right?

EJ is better. All of Kuzma’s numbers are taking a dive next year and beyond. Lol at you hyping a declining player because you have a crush on him. That’s why I don’t like women on forums, too many hormones messing up their thinking. You know this isn’t a who’s cuter question. Lol

This is a bad post.

You might be right about you Kuzma prediction and he almost surely is not going to increase his numbers next year.

But that does not mean he is a declining player.

He is almost definitely a better 3 point shooter than what he showed last season. If his 3 point percentage rebounds back to where he was as a rookie, he will be fine.

The real issue is whether or not the Lakers can play Kuzma at the same time as Davis and Cousins because of his defense.

Because obviously Eddie Jones’ skill set would have fit with anybody on the Roster (yes, even Danny Green). You can never have too many athletic wings who can shoot and defend.

The stats for Kuzma were better when I looked. Granted that there some things that don't show up in the stats, and as of right now, perhaps Kuzma isn't on the same level(I think he is though) as Jones, but we both know what Jones maxed out and I do believe Kuzma has a higher level to go and I think he is already posting more points and rebounds then Jones

Ask Fordman the administrator where my IP address is coming from and ask where Lebron23James is coming from. You'll see I'm coming from Orange County, CA. His will probably be Ohio. There is no way are we the same poster. You need to get that out of your head, SD.

How do you figure Kuzma at age 23 will take a dive next year & beyond? In his 2nd year his ppg, asts, FT% & FG% went up.

Now I hate saying anything good about those damn Lakers. But to say his best NBA years are already behind him is laughable.

Lakers already have a player in Eddie Jones' position in Danny Green. I'll take Green and Kuzma over a fictious opportunity to take Eddie Jones from 20 years ago.

Green's Per36 stats: 13.3 ppg, 5.1 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.2 SPG, .465/.455/.841 and a strong perimeter defender

BTW, why cherry-pick Eddie Jones' age 26 season to compare with Kuzma's upcoming age 24 season?

Eddie Jones' age 24 season, Per36:

14.7 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 4.1 APG, 2.1 SPG, .492/.366/.739

There is no possible spin to argue that 2 years of subpar Vlade production in Charlotte offsets trading away the rights to Kobe.

I never liked the Jones trade, and IMO the Lakers made several bad trades in the Kobe era (Jones, Van Exel, Caron for Kwame) before the bigger failures of Nash and Dwight. You could argue that Kwame helped get Pau, but I'm sure Caron would've been fine in his place in that deal, as Kwame was cash filler essentially).

The Kobe for Eddie Jones and Vlade Divac came much earlier then that dumb ass trade for Kwame Brown. That said, Kobe brought the Lakers 5 championship titles and Jones brought us nothing and never brought anyone else even close, so if I had it to do over - I would still take that trade because I know what we will get. That would have been interesting though to have Shaq Oneal, Eddie Jones and Vlade together. Nick Van Excel, though was a waste and if there was no Kobe to trade for, then Shaq for Caron, Lamar and the other dude never gets done. Then we most likely never do the Kwame trade and it's an entire new deal that is totally unknown.

The veracity of my post was too much for you, huh, dude?

Little did you know is that you are actually agreeing with me. Kuzma is a developing player so his numbers should improve from the prior year. If his numbers stay the same he is certainly back sliding as it relates to a developing player’s expected trajectory. You stated “he almost surely is not going to increase his numbers next year”, so you’re true thought process has him putting up numbers the same, maybe even possibly worse which is a declining in performance for a developing player which he is.

How do you figure he will be a better 3 point shooter?

Maybe Vogel can get Kuzma to play defense better, it’s his only hope of contributing positively to this team.

Agree with you. EJ is much better.

Receiving less touches with AD and Lebron dominating the ball will have a detrimental effect on Kuzma's game in both production and efficiency.

Let's just wait & see on that one. Too early to say something like that.

From what I understand, they can tell which city or general are you are posting from. Therefore, I would show up in the Orange County area and LB23J would show up in the Ohio area. Of course, like ShaqDaddy said, you can use a proxy service to hide behind but unless it is a high anonymous type of proxy service then they can see that you are using a proxy. So, yes it isn't full proof but I think your standard internet user probably doesn't know all this and is using his real IP address.
