Career numbers?

Effective fg% went down from 52.7% to 51.5%
Rebounding down from 6.3 to to 5.5
PER went down from 14.2 to 14.0
His assists went up from 1.8 to 2.5
His points went up slightly 16.1 to 18.7
His minutes and fg attempts went up a tad.

He's only played 2 years. If you want to say those are career numbers, then that's fine but is a bit misleading. TBH, he looks similar except for his 3 pt shooting percentage which took a dive which I'm most concerned about because he'll have plenty of open threes the Lakers are going to need for him to drain. I really doubt he does, though.

You're the one calling out a 2nd year for being a bust but calling them "career numbers" upsets you?

So you're an attention seeker?

No, he's obviously a troll in the purest sense, using heightened language to get an argument going. I love it, we need more of that here.

He's a bust in the sense that he won't contribute meaningfully to a contender and he's not good enough to carry a bunch of scrubs in the playoffs. So where does his value lie in the NBA? He's a good player on a lotto team. Who wants that? His value for anything meaningful is low, therefore a bust in my eyes.

Where his value lies? Tell me, how much is he getting paid this year.

The problem is the Lakers are relying on his game to develop and evolve around AD and Lebron allowing him to contribute to a championship team but that won't happen. I think his 2 million dollar contact is valuable as a trade chip with another team, that's probably his biggest value.

It's not a problem at all. Kuzma already said he's cool coming off the bench if it means winning a title.

He'll get his minutes whenever AD or whoever starts at the 5 gets a rest

I am sure he is fine with it.

But the point is, they will rarely get to have their top 4 players on the court at the same time.

That could be problematic. Because most good teams can play their best guys together.

I really doubt it will be much of a problem. Having him come off the bench and dominate an opponents 2nd group would be more beneficial than having him be just another solid player as a starter, imo.

I understand your point and it would be nice to be able to play all of them together. But I'll be surprised if it's much of a problem.

Depending on who they're playing and what the score is they could easily have a lineup of

Boogie
AD
Kuzma
Green
Lebron

In fact its rumored Vogel might actually try that lineup at some point
