I’m sick of teams in the west needing to win 50 games to qualify for the playoffs while eastern teams can get in with losing records.

I’d love it if Kawhi stayed in Toronto, Durant built a super team in New York or New Jersey with kyrie / deandre.

The east is still too weak my opinion. Those moves would help balance things.

If he was going to Brooklyn, wouldn't he keep a house in California? I would if I could afford it; NY weather sucks. Maybe he just wanted out of Malibu, or just a change.

Meh I really don't think this is a deal breaker. I think he still definitely considering GS and some other options.

@Shanemansj13

lets hope the Cavs have one more bad season, get one more solid lotto pick....

after this season the only K's they have on the books are Love, Nance, Sexton, Gardner, and the other 2 first rounders.

Imagine if they get another top 5 pick next summer....and are sitting on Love, nance, Sexton, this years 3 first rounders, next years lotto pick, and a boatload of cap space.

You can see how their way out of this mess is starting to come together--- a lot faster than other teams anway.

People get so weird about what these multimillionaires do with their real estate portfolios

@WiggyRuss Yeah that would be ideal. If Love stays healthy though they might actually be at the end of the lotto or fighting for an 8th seed. Just depends on how good these rookies are: Love, Sexton and Garland is intriguing. I mean if they traded Love they would be set up for another top 5 pick most likely.

Have you looked at the 2020 mock draft yet? Of course you have guys that rise and fall during the season but right now the best are:

SG - Anthony Edwards (he looks like the most talented from this class)
PF/C - Isaiah Stewart
PG - Theo Maledon
C - James Wiseman
PG - Cole Anthony

I would think their main focus would be targeting a big man, even if Love is still on the books. I'm just not sure how bad they will be if Love is healthy, like I said, they could fight for the playoffs. That's what we said last year as well and he got injured again lol.

@WiggyRuss would you take a combo of these players for Love?

Nassir Little $2.1
Anfernee Simmons $2.1
Zach Collins $4.2
Mo Harkless $11
Meyers Leonard $11.2

Love is at $28.9 so they would have to match that.

I doubt they would part with Collins and probably Little too but definitely possible.

Maybe Collins, Harkless, Little and a future pick for Love.

Top 5 overall in East was better than top 5 in West imo

Yep and not for nothing, I think 3 of the top 4 beats Houston, Denver, and Portland in a series.

I think Toronto, Milwaukee, and Philly is on the same level as those 3 teams. I think Toronto and Milwaukee were actually better than seeds 2-4 out West. I think Philly would for sure beat Denver and Portland in a best of 7. Them and Houston is a toss up.

I don't see Portland interested in such a deal, as it would cost them a ton of young talent. Collins and Leonard did a decent Kevin Love impersonation last month anyway.

Yep.
I'm waiting on the hard evidence like him being photographed after buying moving boxes from Home Depot.
