Don't forget that same college graduate, the day after graduating is $280k ahead of the SM who was earning a paycheck for four years. It doesn't matter if the student is already $100k in debt and hasn't made a dime. Math nor English are the former TOYs strong points.

The average college grad makes something just under 70,000. Over 4 years that’s 280,000. Subtract what a military guy make in 4 years and the free college tuition and I still think you’ll be better off skipping the military. No big deal. Nothing to get your panties in a bind about. Just a persons opinion on the more strategic route but keep trying and turning this into something else. I literally have 5 people in a frenzy calling me a moron for a strategy that I think is better. Especially when you factor in the PTSD and severe mental health issues that affect a lot of people.

"I'm a Classist"....

doesn't think money/assets factors in? Derpa Derp

Money is a part of it but no matter how much you try to convince me, Allen Iverson and his 10s of millions isn’t upper class. Upper class people don’t get “Cru Thik” tatted on their neck.

Again, what does the average college grad make IMMEDIATELY AFTER GRADUATING?

Fvcking liar

70,000 a year immediately after college? Got a link for that ridiculous opinion?

TOY
Former model for wife
Retired early
Wife has 7 figure IRA when only 1% of people in fidelity have that.
Now... psychic

Ask Ford if he thinks a 30 year employee in his company (the same as my wife) would have a million bucks in a 401k. That really isn’t much of you live off the interest.

I’ve already posted the link saying it’s in the 1%. You’re full of shit

More bullshit.

Fidelity in 2017 managed over 15 MILLION IRAs. Only 150,000 of them had 7 figure totals.

Here’s the quote:

Some 150,000 savers had seven figures in their 401(k) account as of the end of last year, up from 93,000 a year ago, Fidelity reported. While these super savers represent just 1% of Fidelity’s 15.3 million retirement plan participants as of Dec. 31, 2017,

Here’s the link...

The Number of 401(k) Millionaires Has Reached a Record High

Fvck off... liar!

I just posted a link that says seven figure IRAs are in the 1%. You refute that by calling on another poster?

Now your wife worked for some airline. Before you said she was a model. You can’t even keep your lies straight.

She wasn’t a long term professional model. She had model gigs in her late teens and early 20s. I have one of her modeling for hot tub company with the huge 80s hair. She doesn’t have an IRA she has a 401k and profit sharing.
You get 2% in your fucking bank account dumbass.

Hahaha. She was a hot tub “model” 30 years ago so she’s a model? Haha

401Ks have limits on contributions. I call bullshit.

Show me where you’re getting 5% risk free returns. You talked about “living off the interest and getting 50K a year.” Show me that investment vehicle.

Look at my link... it talks about 401K balances. Still in the 1%. You lose again

You trying to tell me getting a financial guy to get you 5% return on your money is outrageous. You have a lot to learn. You also don’t understand Profit Sharing plans and buying company stocks at a discount for 30 fucking years. Your problem is you think a million bucks in your retirement is some obscene amount of money. Me, I think it pretty normal when you work from a company that went from small size to international and was the only airline company making profits during the recession several years ago cause they hedged their fuel.

Well it took you about a week but you finally realize you need to subtract the amount of $ earned by the service member during those first four years:clap:.

Now subtract the four years of debt incurred by the college student from that $280k (which is actually closer to $200k, see all the articles posted) while that service member was making a minimum of $50k per year and getting a free education.

Once you get that. We're probably looking at a month seeing your past calculations. Let me know and we can work on more advanced things like:
You admitting how wrong you are.
How many articles do you need posted to understand a very limited # of graduates jump into a $70k job?

After all that I'll school the educator on how a SM who went into the military made upwards of $50k a year, received an education free as well as he/she gained multiple multiple life skills. Putting him ahead of a college student even after eight years.

I know for you this simple concept is like Chinese arithmetic. No problem I have plenty of time and patience. I'll school the former TOY free of charge.

It didn’t take me a week. I knew that from the get go when we were talking about military pay. Now you’re saying someone can just join the miltnow out of HS and make 50,000 a year with no room, board or food bills? And I hate to break it to you but most Universities aren’t 50,000 a year. Maybe Harvard but it’s more along the lines of about 15,000.

I’ll admit I was wrong if you can tell me how to tell my teenagers in my life how they can go to the military for 4 years, get free college, room and board and $50,000 per on top of that. I though it was like 18,000 but 50,000 right out of HS and getting rejected from college!!! Amazing!

Why do you have to over analyze everyrhing?
She's a model employee, thus the 7 figure 401k.

She doesn’t have a million in her 401k so I was wrong and she isn’t in DblDown illustrious 1%. She has that much in her 401K and profit sharing combined.
