So you think the military is better at setting up your career then going to college? Again, I’m not talking down to people who choose the military I’m just saying it’s my opinion that college opens more doors.

Yes, if you want to say Dak is better only because of Wentz getting injured the rest of his career then fine. Dak is good. He just doesn’t have the talent to be elite. Wentz does but I think we all know that.
Pretty sure if he didnt have the talent he wouldnt be a starter in the NFL.
You know one of the things to be elite is? Winning.
Dak three years in league. Three winning seasons.
Wentz three years in league. One winning season.

Dak always gets his stats when it is crunch time.
Wentz ...... ???

Not saying either will be elite.
but if you look at when it matters. Dak would be the one closer to having the talent to be elite right now.

No, I just said the military doesn’t help advance yourself like college does. But I have said I’m classist and it isn’t right. I told them you are MUCH better off going to college. That’s not a slight at the brave Americans who are super patriotic... it’s just the truth.
That's not what you said you POS
you're GnG-ing as usual.

A lot of people use the military to afford to go to college. so why not have both.
straight up one vs. the other I would say it depends on what field you want to be in.

Don't forget that he hates white people, cause they oppress the illegal scummy people he adores.

Why would you call an innocent little kid scummy. What’s wrong with you. It’s sad what you find funny. I know you wouldn’t call them that if they were white.

No. Not even close. Dak isn’t solely responsible for the Cowboys wins. Dak has the talent to be a starter. He’s good. He will just never be a top QB and that’s OK.

I think it’s better to take college loans and when you graduate you will make a lot more. You lose several years of high earning going to the military. What career are you better off going to the military for then going to college. I can’t think of any.

well you are right about that. it is ok if he isnt a top QB. I just need him to play within the system (something Wentz needs to improve on) & keep on winning. Dak playing better than wentz is just icing on the cake for a thread like this :becky:

Tell me how? Tell me why you think you’ll be better prepared for a professional career without a college degree and with time in the military? I’m all ears

How many people work in the field they got their degree in?

As people have mentioned service members not only receive training in which ever field they pick, the majority also get a degree or multiple degrees.

This doesn't even take into account the expirience gained by serving both culturally and the maturity gained.

Yeah I'll take a 22 y/o fresh out of the military degree or not over a 22 y/o with a teaching certificate.

You must be a super scout with your knowledge of NFL talent. Why hasn't a NFL team or top college team hired you yet.

Oh, wait a minute, you were clueless on wentz until the draft. I guess your pre draft magazines weren't high on him at print time.

Speaking about these magazines, can you enlighten us on their predictions?

That’s because you’re stupid.

You make like 18,000 in the military and get college assistance. Let’s say you go to college. The average college grad makes like 70,000. You’re missing out on 280,000 which will easily pay for college and a lot lot more, especially if you start off at community college

well the military is pretty high tech nowadays. There is a lot of fields you can learn a ton on. I think you are just thinking some guy joining to be a grunt. With some fields. the Military is a college of sorts.

I agree but we are talking about setting up careers.

An 18 year old kid can go into the military and learn LOTS of real world skills AND earn money/get grants to pay for a degree when he/she gets out.

Let’s say they stay in for 4 years... now they are 22 years old. They start college and finish when they are 26. They are now 26 years old, have a lot less debt than someone who went straight into college AND they have real world skills that employers are looking for.

Also, they have access to medical benefits thru the VA if their job doesn’t give them medical or they are out of work.

You’re the dumbest “teacher” I’ve ever come across
