Ram Tough
You pray for rain, you gotta deal with the mud too
Fwiw @Chef99 i medically thinknu made the right call
@SteelersPride I actually hope your right and I am wrong about Gurley

It's called rookie fever or new toy syndrome. .... think we all taste it sometimes.I think you win too.
I dunno where this notion of Montgomery as the automatic lead guy, or the work horse comes from. He wasn't drafted in the first, nor the second, so nothing is goung to be just handed over. he's still gotta win a job. Cohen put what was a very capable back in Jordan Howard on the bench for long stretches, and Mike Davis is no push over. I have no doubts the kid will end up with plenty of touches, but, he may very well be nothing more than part of a three headed committee. Its not like that isnt a very real possibility. If he was good enough to just assume he'll come in and push Davis and Cohen to the side, someone would've taken him higher. Not that he can't, I just don't understand why so many just assume he will.

im just curious. In RE: to gurley vs michel, what makes u think gurley is WORSE off@SteelersPride I actually hope your right and I am wrong about Gurley

what exactly do you mean by number?@SteelersPride I am curious, what do realistically think Gurleys number will be this year?
I wonder how many times AJ Green has been traded in this league?
oh jesus , im not quite sure. I think a LARGE portion of that depends on gameflow, and how the ram's season is going. They screwed up last year, and largely lost gurley for the playoffs. In blowouts, secured wins, etc, they are likely gonna pull gurley and like henderson mop up, they'd be stupid not too. But i think the same can be said about michel.
I still think he logs 200-225 carries, and 35-50 catches. I may be wayyyyyyyyyyyy off base. But with those touches, whose gonna do more with them then gurley.
i still think he eats, just not quite as much as usual.
im not totatlly disagreeing with you. I dont see him as the #1 fantasy producer, because they will still try to "preserve" him. but even in limited work, in the offense he can put up great numbers. trust me the one offer you send me a while ago with mixon, had me thinking...........i forget why i exactly declined. I think this may be a situation where his fantasy status dips some, still a great player. But his IRL effectiveness, and usefulness to the team become greater, because he is available. Everyone assumes henderson is a monster. i mean yes cj anderson even produced big in that offense, so yes henderson likely produces, but hes unknown.I agree with you,
I think he sees around 185-200 carries with about 30-50 passing targets
That's a far cry from the past 2 seasons though. I truly believe this was the best time to unload him while people still view him as an elite RB.. I pray I am wrong about all of this and Gurley still produces at an all pro level, but I truly just can't see it happening
thats why we love the Ol Chef... trade lulls never last even when he is done he is never done
Wow Congrats boysSoggy gets: Todd Gurley, Allen Robinson, Curtis Samuel, Ram's 1st
Rammy gets: Sony Michel, AJ Green, Tyler Lockett, Foot's 1st
perfect nice to see a lateral trade from the same position as those trades for some reason appear to be the toughest to make...Me and Ram did a deal.
He gets Montgomery...
I get Penny.
Win, win I think. He gets a immediate work horse. I get the better Rb that isn't the work horse yet. Time will tell how this works out,
Oh don't get me wrong, I have a ton of respect for your talent assessments - was just making a funny - and you made Harold happy as well. ....Yes but I am not exactly looking at this trade for this season...
Bears went and traded up for Montgomery, he clearly has the skill set Nagy has been looking for in the RB position. A true potential 3 down back with great receiving skills. Call me crazy but I see alil David Johnson in Montgomery. I am excited about his potential over the next few seasons. I am a believer in Rashaad Penny as well I really like him but I wanted to help out HaroldSeattle and give him his homer RB in what I believe is a fair trade.
I won’t forget how @Ram Tough called his shot with hunt.Oh don't get me wrong, I have a ton of respect for your talent assessments - was just making a funny - and you made Harold happy as well. ....
