Blah blah, blah, nonesense. Blah, blah, blah, nonesense, blah ,blah, blah.

The Bucks have all the exceptions they need not to be lux tax eligible before they have 132M of salary obligations.
maybe STFU for a minute and listen to what people are saying and you might learn something.

thus making you less of a dipshit.

Still the Bucks have all the exeptions they need booked and won't be lux tax eligible before they reach 132M of salaries...

I'm therefore not interested in learning from you different.

This is semantical, but needs to be pointed out.

The Bucks do not have $62 million in cap space.

Cap holds count against space. They would have to renounce all their players they have holds on to actually claim that cap space.

They will not renounce Brogdon unless they decide not to match a lucrative offer from another team.
They will not renounce Middleton (unless they intend to let him go) because that would cause them to lose his Bird Rights and lose the ability to offer him a 5th year

They could renounce the others I suppose.

They may have $62 million to sign players with, but not $62 million in cap space. There is a difference.

Why would they want to offer Middleton a fifth year, which would be a 5 year 190 million dollar contract?

This max deal shit needs to stop somewhere or its going to guarantee a lockout

Of course they won't be "lux tax eligible before they hit 132M" since 132M is their rumored lux tax limit.

Do you think before you type? I'm thinking not. Up your game, posting a lot of BS doesn't add anything to the board.

So again....going back to his first thread I said the Bucks will retain their current core and that's it
Their current core had the best won/lost record in the NBA last season.

I do not disagree with you. Really those types of deals end up going to players who simply don't deserve 85-90% of what the actual superstars are getting.

But that is the reality of the system. If Milwaukee doesn't pay him, some talent starved franchise will.

The end result is that the Bucks will eventually have to choose between breaking up their core or paying a lot of tax.

We aren't there yet, but not too far away.

I agree. While I don't want to see him leave the Bucks I don't think 5 years at $190 makes any financial sense to the team.

He was their 2nd best player all year, but when Giannis was out they lost most of those games, so how can that $$ be justified. I just don't see that being a contract you want to sign from the team perspective.

From Middleton's perspective, I would get as much as I could from whoever I could. Mostly because I don't think he'll get a 2nd contract like that...so take what's available when it's available..

If you can get Horford in on a team friendly deal, then you don't need Lopez. Mirotic would be an obvious casualty.

If the Bucks could trade both Snell and Illyosova with taking 0 salary back, cut George Hill, and renounce the rights of both Mirotic and lopez they would max out at 24 million to spend.

I suppose Horford may take that kind of discount, but how do they take 0 salary back in the trade? Unless the Jazz want to dump favors non gauranteed contract I dont see it.

Well they just took back $9 from Snell with that Leuer contract. I think the most likely think now is they bring back Lopez, which probably means no Horford.

Unless Horford will take 15 a year.

I don't see it.

He will likely make a decent amount less for a longer deal for this upcoming season but I don't see him going 15

He didn't start it, you did...he was just commenting. I suggest you apologize, tone it down, and do so in a timely manner. Maybe this site isn't for you.
