Dudes been there for like 25 years. They haven’t made the tourney in what?? 10 years? It was way pass due for a change. You can only live on the accomplishments of 2004 for so long.

made the tournament in 2016, but there has been zero consistency there. St. Joe's hasn't been a good program since 2008. it was time for a change

Made it in 2014 and 2016. He doesn't get the best athletes....they had a bad 3 year run.

He'll get another job....I'm sure.

Ahh didn’t see that. But in the last 15 years he has made the tournament 3 times. The school I understand is not the first choice of blue chips, but it is located in philly. They should definitely make it more to the tourney then they have the last bunch of years of his tenure.

I thought that too. It seems they are always middle of the pack in the A10.

gave him a stupid extension after he sneaked into the NCAAT following a huge year by John Collins

Wake basketball used to be described as "good", "solid", "respectable", now it's "bottom feeder", "pathetic", "LOL"



hopefully giving DM six years to turn it around will prove to be good optics for the next coaching search. state of the art facilities shouldn't hurt either..

That's a pipe dream IMO. If he didn't leave for UCLA or NC State he isn't going to Bama IMO. But $$$ talks. So we'll see.

That 2016 Joes team nearly knocked off the #1 seeded Ducks in the 2nd round in Spokane. If i recall, they had like a 6 point lead with 5 minutes to go before Oregon went on a run to end the game

Pretty sure he turned down Bama before they hired Avery Johnson as well. Like it never got to a formal offer, but he was a target, they wanted to interview, and he said no before the process began
