But he is and he did.....and the Cavs were ready for his return with another superstar, cap space and a ton of picks.

The premise was, don't blow your load on loading up on draft picks and your grand scheme thinking history repeats itself in this case. From all of those number 1 picks that Cleveland was lucky to land, it still took Lebron returning to make it actually work. Salary cap space and draft picks doesn't always work. Hell, you guys gave the Lakers shit for years while having Lebron return and they're still not close to a title. So maybe consider yourself in that same scenario.

AC a good comparison. I'm gonna say the hope is the Cavs are again a good team and if they are TT is probably more like a 7-10 PPG and 6-9 rebound guy. But on THIS team I'd say those #s are right.

And that, imo, is part of what makes him important to the teams success. He'll take that reduction in his numbers and never complain because he knows it means the team is good again.

KLove won a title on a max deal and played for 3 others with 2 other max guys. Yeah, that sucked.

Cavs won despite having Love those seasons.
He was near useless vs Warriors.

Sorry, no clue what you are trying to say here.

Can't say I know much about St. V's so not sure why it would have been tough on Bronny. Having to live up to dad?

Always thought going to LA because of off court didn't make a lot of sense. Not like he can make movies during the season and can live in LA in offseason no matter what team he played for. But seems like he might be involved in some of these shows during season.

Yep LeBron won 3 state & a national title (won both his sr. year). That wouldn't have been fair to his son. They should have won 4 in a row but his jr. year as time was running out he passed the rock instead of taking the final shot & lost to Cincinnati Roger Bacon HS. Pretty big upset @ the time.

OK, but they had to get to the Finals and he played a big role.

Didn't you say teams with max guys cannot win titles, or something like that?

No. Can you read and comprehend?
I said teams with 1 overpriced 'max' player can't compete.

In other words, the Heat doing what they did vs not signing Hayward made no difference.

And I wonder who's tops on their list to replace Walton? Any guesses LakersNation?

So far, Ty Lue seems to be the odds on favorite. Lebron apparently likes him and from what has been said, Lue doesn't seem to be afraid to tell Lebron to stop being an asshole when necessary. He has ties to the Lakers and was a fan favorite when he was here, which helps.

Mark Jackson and Jason Kidd have been mentioned, but I think either of them would be a mistake.

This isn't happening, imo, but according to The Dan Patrick Show this morning...Doc Rivers replacing Luke has been picking up some steam on social media.

In fact I can read and comprehend. But admittedly I don't memorize all the comments here and who made them, which was why I asked you to explain. didn't think you'd get bent out of shape over it.

And I agree with your comment. 1 overpriced max player wont get a team very far. But not sure a handful over very overpriced players is the way to go either.

Agree on assessment of Lue, and he already knows how this works.....win and Lebron will get the credit, lose and the coach is blamed.

If his health is OK I hope he gets another chance.

Thanks for the info. I heard about the Kidd & Jackson rumors & I agree w/ you. Didn't realize Lue was in the mix though.
