I love this committee head saying that Quad 1 wins are everything after giving Gonzaga (4 Quad 1 wins) a 1 seed over Michigan State (12 Quad 1 wins).

But honestly, the bracket wasn't too bad overall. We definitely had the worst Round 1 draw of anyone, but Oregon is some good karma if we win (we beat them in both of our 2014-2015 Final Four runs) and if we can't beat them, we weren't gonna go far anyways.

The East has arguably the two most complete teams in the country, but they made up for it by making the rest of that bracket comparatively weak. There are a lot of inconsistencies among the individual seeds, but each bracket is filled with some overseeded teams and some underseeded teams.

Yeah can't complain much about the brackets. Seeds were a little off but it is what it is.

Cincy as a 7 in Ohio is very reminiscent of So Carolina as 7 a few years back

I hate situations like putting Maryland in the east.

If they can get past LSU, they can get Michigan State and potentially Duke in Washington DC in front of their home fans, who are incredibly passionate and incredibly ugly.

It's not much of a reward for MSU or Duke to play Maryland in front of those Terps fans

Certainly they do. And I'd like this bracket a lot if it were in NYC or Boston or Philadelphia or any other eastern city.

But they should not have to play Maryland about 15 miles from the Maryland campus. Those fans are just awful.

Pretty happy with UK's draw. Sure UNC is a fraud 1 but would rather fight to play a team the Cats beat vs Zion and some dudes, which Michigan State drew.

FSU is a bad personnel match up for us, but they lay eggs in march frequently and last year made a run.

We are struggling so we obviously could lose, but I like the Murray State match up a lot actually.

And the rest of the region is pretty favorable.

I can’t complain much. We’ve lost our way, but got a shot.

And I love playing Thursday .
