Actually there is a line. IF you look at our immigration laws, specifically pertaining to the southern border, they were put in place because the law makers at the time wanted to stop mexicans from entering not because of fear of crime, but fear of demographic change. Now I dont know about you, but when a law had its roots in prejudice.. it might be time to change said law.

I will try and make this easy for you.

When a house is built on a poor foundation, you will always have problems with that house until you rebuild it.

Our immigration laws were built on a poor foundation. They have been trying to patch the roof and fix the cracks in the wall for going on 100 years now. But the reality is, all they have done is change the undesired immigrant designation every few generations.


The Johnson-Reed Act was a project of racial engineering, but it was also an expression of foreign relations. In addition to severely restricting immigration, the Johnson-Reed Act redefined American foreign policy. In the past, immigration had been brokered through international treaties and negotiations. With the Johnson-Reed Act, America alone would control immigration, and it would do so according to a nationalist vision. The worldview laid out in the Johnson-Reed Act is still the foundational principle of immigration law today.

His reasoning? To counter the apparent Dem ticket which surely will have a woman on it in some fashion. So, let me ask you guys, and lady, is this a good move? If so, doesn't he also risk losing the already confused evangelical voter?
