Howard isn't a UM employee. So that means you have a problem with Desmond Howard on ESPN, given his rampant homerism and involvement in the football program?

Means nothing. You said the issue is Meyer's impact on recruits, but Howard is still very active in the UM football community. Literally the same exact thing.Howard isn't a UM employee.
It isn't. He doesn't have an office inside Schembechler Hall and also has an OSU QB sitting right next to him on the desk.Means nothing. You said the issue is Meyer's impact on recruits, but Howard is still very active in the UM football community. Literally the same exact thing.

Again, literally the exact same thing. You said the problem was impact on recruits and Howard is very present at UM football gatherings. You either acknowledge this or admit you're being a homer and hypocrite. It isn't. He doesn't have an office inside Schembechler Hall and also has an OSU QB sitting right next to him on the desk.

Shocking. You have problem w/ anything Ohio State does. Do you need some cheese w/ your whine?
Rece Davis is fine, Herbie is nothing special at all. Corso has gotten more and more annoying as the years go by. He's more a sideshow than a respected source. The show in general just isn't as enjoyable as it used to be.
What was wrong with Meyer his last time around? He doesn't have a ton of charisma on camera, but I could care less. I'm going to take his POV on college football today more than guys like Herbie and especially Pollack. I enjoy Rob Stone, and what's so bad about Leinart or Quinn?
This reminds me of the move NFL Network made to try and combat the Sunday morning ESPN programming, and I haven't tuned into ESPN Sundays for probably 2 years.
That's fair. I like Quinn, and Leinart isn't great but I'd easily take him over Howard and Pollack. I think the fact that you have 3 former star college players and one of the best CFB coaches of all-time will give it some star power to get some viewers. You're right, like I said, Meyer isn't the most charismatic guy. That said, for the folks that got tired of ESPN being more interested in things unrelated to actual CFB analysis, it'll be welcomed. For me, it's not about it involving specifically "Urban Meyer, former OSU head coach". It's about it involving "Urban Meyer, one of the best CFB coaches of all-time". It's definitely the first show that could actually gain some viewers that have tuned off ESPN in recent years.Meyer isn't good on TV. It's just my opinion. Desmond Howard isn't good either IMO. So it's not an Urban thing. Leinart doesn't move the needle for me. Joel Klatt is the best at Fox, IMO, but I understand why he won't be a a part of the program. Quinn is okay. Meyer just came off as boring to me. He won't make me tune into this that's for sure.
I suspect there could be issues down the line. (for instance) Talking heads often talk about recruiting, but staff members associated with the program aren't allowed to mention recruits by name until they sign. Imagine a discussion on TV about a future OSU prospect who hasn't signed. Illegal for Urban to talk about, fine for the other guys to talk about.Yet the NCAA doesn't seem to have an issue w/ Meyer's new job. Maybe you should write them a letter in crayon explaining your frustrations.

Sorry, but nobody but OSU fans want to listen to Urban Meyer.
I was giving you one single example. So all you're doing is playing a guessing game right now. Got it. What you meant to say is you're hoping there will be issues down the line.
