I've always thought it was cool that the word parallel actually has parallel lines in it.

I'm disappointed in the word perpendicular for not meeting the same standard. A "t" was needed.

Are there any other words that visually represent themselves?
Trump. It's got rump in it.

Sounds like an interesting device. @dash prefers the good ol' vibrating belt.

When I was a kid while searching for Yar's Revenge I found a vibrating belt in my Mom's dresser. Never saw her use it, not sure what it was for.

storytime: maybe 10 years ago now my wife somehow registered us to go to a Cuisine Sante night. They offered a 4 course free meal COOKED ENTIRELY OUT OF THE SAME POT in exchange for 2 hours of our time one evening :ohwell:

I wanted no part of it but my wife just had our first child and she wanted a night out lol

weirdest experience ever ... it was a hard sell in person infomercial for their cookware line that "DIDNT CONTAIN ALUMINUM IN IT SO YOU WOULD NEVER GET ALZHEIMERS!!!" There were 4 other couples there and i commented to my wife that I thought all these other people were plants because they were so over the top enthused at the product/quality of dinner.

at the end of dinner and desert, ( the upside down pineapple cake was actually good  ) and before they told us the price to purchase the 10 piece cookware set was $2400 (that was just before they took us into a separate room to continue the hard sell and give us the new price of $500), they introduced a new product they were offering ... one of those stand on vibration machines that jiggled all your cellulite away ... also $2400 ???

So they ask if someone would like to come up and demo this vibration machine. Immediately one of the females that I thought was part of the "show" raised her hand and walked toward the machine... Anyhow ... massive tits in a tight black top ... what a show it was :thumb:

For Christmas, I received (in addition to a second air fryer) a framed, autographed Nic Backstrom jersey. Adding to my collection of Autographed memorabilia from dudes who have won the cup.

But it's got a bit of a story. So, again, my son didn't make his school's team. I won't go into it, but the coach runs a hockey training business that my son refuses to go to. Two kids got cut. Neither went to his business. So fuck him. Anyway, in preparation of the season we bought him a school sweater, hat and me a hoodie. We paid 90 bucks for all of it. Once he didn't make it we donated it to the school Christmas auction. They brought in 275 dollars.

Right next to it on the auction table was a professionally framed jersey signed by a legit NHL star and most recent cup winner. It went through the whole night with no bids. My wife was working the checkout and noticed no bids. Talked to the person running it and was able to buy it. For half the opening bid. Which was a little more than half what a hoodie hat and sweater went for.

Sheesh.

Now I gotta figure out where to hang it, though.

In all seriousness, that's really cool, @forty_three . Nick Backstrom is an awesome dude. :thumb:

I pretty much like all the Caps but one. There's a second I don't like all that much (Oshie) but that's mainly because he destroys my team all the time. I can still respect him as a player despite his incredibly punchable face.
