I’m ok with it in an 8 team but not a 4 team. Not until they step up their OOC to be something above Baylor levels.
Yeah, but they need to keep the other P5 Baylor types out as well as the G5s in regards to "stepping up their OOC" schedules. Baylor was 5th in the final CFP rankings in 2014 and would have gotten into an 8 team playoff. Their OOC was SMU, Northwestern State and Buffalo. Miss State would also have gotten into the playoffs in 2014 at #7 in the final CFP rankings. And whiffed on four chances instead of three with an OOC of Southern Miss, UAB, South Alabama and UT Martin. The other 6 of the top 8 at least had one P5 team on their OOC schedule.

It wasn’t 20+ points better before the postseason, though. Regardless, both Bama and UCF warranted slots in the hypothetical 8-team playoff last year. I’m not sure why so many are hostile to the idea of UCF getting in.

Actually yes, it was. Since you quoted Colley, prior to the playoffs, Alabama's SOS was 43, UCF's was 65...last I checked 65 was more than 20 spots lower than 43. After the playoffs UCF was 49 and Alabama was 16.

You could argue, if you want, but according to the CFP rankings, UCF would not have been in a 8 team playoff last year. They would have been this year, which is the real joke given their SOS this year.

And I’m sure their SoS was a hell of a lot better than 89th like UCF’s is.

Ah so stupid logic again I see. Ohio State has the best win in the country blowing out #4. By your logic, if other teams had blown out a top 5 team, then all things would be equal. Problem is, they didn’t. So Ohio State is the best team in the country.

Your logic lol.

On top of the rest of your ignorance, you also cite ranks at the time games were played?

 Is there anything you aren't 100% stupid about?

Michigan was not a top5 team, and neither is Ohio St.

Well dumb fuck, it was the last game of the regular season. It's not like I cherry picked beating a ranked team in week 1 that ended up 4-8. And Michigan was a top 5 team, until we beat them. So by virtue of losing, they had to drop.

Oh, so they quit making rankings after that week huh?

As I said yesterday your opinion is convenient. We can mince day of or current ranking but it's not like Michigan dropped far.

Maybe Ohio State should've played the same trash OOC (or lucked into a garbage FSU team) that Bama has and they'd have made the playoffs last year.

Your own frigging fanbase has acknowledged as much in this thread.

But when the playoffs inevitably expands we will be sure to watch you fall apart because for some reason more football has you shook

It's convenient because Alabama wins. I'm not going to apologize for that. And if you think throwing a 3 loss Washington team on our schedule is scary, then you're even more retarded than I thought.

And I'm not sure what the fuck you are talking about in terms of "fanbase". Hell, you can find a fan of any team that say stupid shit all the time, kind of like you stupid ass Ohio St fans acting like you deserved to be in the playoffs. Not all of you are that fucking retarded, but here you are.

In reality, maybe Ohio St shouldn't get BLOWN THE FUCK OUT by shitty ass Iowa teams. Or BLOWN THE FUCK OUT by shitty ass Purdue teams.

I'll take the fact you aren't completely embarrassed by those losses as a sign that you just really don't understand.

I don't have a problem with anyone playing FCS teams or Sun Belt Teams. They are certainly closer to each other than they are to elite P5's though.

There are 5 players on a basketball court. Indiana St played for an NCAA title with Larry Bird. Reincarnations of Dick Butkus, Peyton Manning, Fred Biletnikoff and Barry Sanders could all play for Troy and they are not winning the playoffs.

If they played at the same time they would.

My point is...if we are going to call them FBS teams then they get a
shot just like everybody else.

I don't understand why people are afraid of them.

If they can beat the CUSA Champ then they move on. What's
the problem with that?

Do you feel like the word fuck makes your point more intelligent or something? I'm curious. All it does is make you seem angry. Which is really weird considering Bama has never been wronged by the system.

No one is asking you to apologize for winning....but so far your squad is the only one that's lost their last regular season game and still made the playoffs. So yes your opinion is convenient. You can arbitrarily choose as the committee has that a blowout loss is an important criteria whereas losing your last game isn't. Many of us would prefer more transparency and a clearer path.

No, they wouldn't. Football is a team game of matchups. I'm still going to be able to exploit Troy's shitty 5'5 no star safety every play for a touchdown, regardless of who else is on their defense, and Peyton Manning is not going to complete many passes from his back. OSU was 10-2 and played in the Holiday Bowl with Barry Sanders, they also had a first tema All-American at WR and some mullet wearing dude at QB. I guarantee that 1988 OSU had more 3 stars on their bench than Troy has on their roster.

Nobody is afraid of them, just because I don't think they should be in the playoffs. I would much rather play Troy on the 29th than Oklahoma.

Perhaps you are right, we shouldn't call them FBS teams, unfortunately, like some dumbass that wants to turn his dick into a vagina and grow tits, they get to self declare what they are, regardless of the truth.

If I was angry then I wouldn't post here.
