Beltre retires as a guy who can still play the game. OPS last year was slightly under 800.

He left on his own terms.

His retirement is best for the Rangers future but Rangers baseball just became a bit less fun

Got my stub from his 3,000th hit framed and hanging on the wall... what a day that was. So many wonderful memories from El Capitan.

Retire #29 now, Rangers.

I wonder if the Rangers will decide that they want to keep Profar at 3B for awhile and offer him a multiyear deal?

Would like to see a strong campaign from start to finish before offering him a multi-year.

Thanks for the memories Adrian. I was lucky enough to see two of the greatest play 3B. Adrian Beltre and Brooks Robinson.

Sad to see him leave without a WS ring but he knew that wasn't going to happen especially with the Rangers

If he does have a really strong 2019 I would imagine that increases the cost significantly.
