If this managerial search goes on much longer it is going to make it look like they are gridlocked by indecision. You would think that once they decided to consider firing Banny that the research part of the search process would have begun then. If it did then they may be overthinking the decision.

This organization sometimes gives the impression that they have a hard time making decisions. I always used to think it was competing factions of Ryan's guys versus JD's guys who were responsible, but that certainly cannot be blamed any longer.

Look at the wishy-washy decision making early this season regarding what they were going to do with Gallo and Rua. They were going to leave Gallo at 1B for an extended period and they were going to give Rua an extended look. They stopped doing both very quickly. Some blamed it on Elvis getting hurt, but that should not have affected anyone other than middle infielders.

We really need to develop our own aces from now on. You can't always count on being able to make a Cliff Lee trade just when you need to. I hope they have the patience to do things the right way from now on.

Totally agree. Kershaw's back = Beltre's legs. Don't want to spend +$25m/yr on that.

How much is Kershaw worth now? Big money man loses two WS games. Never makes sense to me why FO's set themselves up like that. On the surface things look good but too often things happen (injuries etc. ) and then you're in hot water. In our case, too often.

Would be Highly surprised if Kershaw pots out. He will leave money on the table. Also many competing guys for FA money this winter including Harper and Manny

I don't mind having one guy like Gallo, but you certainly don't want a whole collection of players like that. One goes a long way. Seven years ago we had power hitters who had good averages as well. We have to develop some guys like that, sign a couple as free agents and trade for one or two. It is a lot easier to acquire good to great hitters than it is to acquire the same quality of pitcher. Those we need to develop.

I believe I read this morning that in postseason elimination games, his ERA is over 6.00, which is the worst all-time for starting pitchers.

I see pitchers who can or will be ready to fill the lower 2 or 3 spots in the rotation during the next couple of years but beyond that I am not convinced we have an ace who will come out of our league system before 2020 or 2021

Probably will go FA if they want to contend 2021 or before.

You may be right sir. His OPS I think is the best on team minus Choo but unless he changes his mindset he is not a favored option up with a man on 3rd less than two outs.

I can handle a guy or two like this on team but we need a team that has contact hitters as a whole.

The difference between Gallo and JD Martinez is huge down 2 strikes
