Quit checking me out.
I don't know. I'm still concerned for you guys. You have the Citadel coming up. Don't overlook these guys.
You kid, but a few years ago Chattanooga kept the game closer than "#3 USC" did that year.

Citadel is 1-3 so they need to get hot to boost Bama's SOS, and of course Bama must cover the spread.
You do know that if they went to 9 conference games, the SEC would still play FCS teams. You know, like 2/3rds of the PAC does.Do you know he doesn’t ?
What we do know
Off season bye week
P5 OOC neutral site game apoarently scheduled by someone else
Two more OOC cupcakes
Bye week before LSU
FCS team bye week before Auburn
Conference rankings are inflated by 8 game conference schedule. To avoid guaranteed conference losses. While padding win loss. By replacing a conference game with an FCS “win”
No one should play the minor leagues it’s lije the cowboys playing Utep and claiming an NFL win....
I would like to see the ACC go 9 game conference schedule. But I have to give Clemson credit.Clemson does also play OOC home and homes i.e. Auburn Theres a major difference between an annual P5 home and home USEe. Playing at Tamu at Tamu OOC .And playing Louisville OOC neutral site neutral site.Add in Arkansas State,Louisiana and The Citadel OOC and its not closeNice dinner read, but I swear ... I don't think some of you even watch college football.
While I do like that bama scheduled some home and homes
SC plays ND home and home every year
And Texas is one of Bamas neutral site locations. It’s a little more like a home and neutral site
As far as this year and the OP
OOCs
Oregon State, Tulane, at TCU
Arkansas State , Louisiana (Not LSU) , The Citadel
Bowling Green, Portland State,San Jose State
Bama is closer to Oregon than OSU. As much as I hate to say it. If Washington wins out and Bama loses to Auburn. Udubs would have a strong case for a cfp spot. Bamas schedule is bad. OSU has a stronger resume than Bama and Clemson imo. Udubs could be in the mix because of Bamas schedule. But the wild card is ND who should be ranked 1 right now. And I REALLY hate saying that
And that would be their choice to water down their 3 game OOC. That came real close to biting Washington in 2016. Without the conference championship they don't make the play offs. With the guaranteed loss distribution and not being able to add an extra FCS/Mid Major. The SEC rankings take a hit and that extra cupcake on a 3 game OOC becomes a major risk. Sec takes a major hit on a 9 game scheduleYou do know that if they went to 9 conference games, the SEC would still play FCS teams. You know, like 2/3rds of the PAC does.
Just beat a top 15 team
Early 2002/2003 on Oklahoma. PSU os closing in on 10 years first year Obama missed the BCS. Second year was the "oklahima State" LSU rematch bowl disaster. I do give him credit for working the system. But a lot of Sabans success has been working the schedulingNo doubt, but USC and ND is a rivalry.
Whether you mean Texas is a 'neutral' site or not, it's still a home/home.
And it wasn't that long ago we did a home/home with Oklahoma AND Penn State.

Off season bye week
P5 OOC neutral site apparently chosen by someone else
2 Mid Major/FCS OOC
Bye week before LSU
FCS bye before Auburn
Creates an easy path.It is a solid formula tho
Would be more impressed if they went 9 conference games 3 OOC
There are no assumptions when it’s a yearly patternEveryone would be more impressed with 9 conference games, and then looking into a magic ball and scheduling the 3 best team in the country, ALL while going undefeated and still national championships.
But it's not going to happen, and assuming he's doing anything else than any other coach in the country is crazy.
There are no assumptions when it’s a yearly pattern
It also plays a role in the other three teams listed in the OP having a stronger schedule. Bama is really weak in the OOC this year. But you also have to factor in on top of having stronger OOC schedules. OSU, Clemson and WV do play home and home. Which is a higher level of difficulty. And they don’t benefit from bye weeks from their two biggest rivalries etc....
Last year Bama actually benefitted from Ohio State playing a home and home against Oklahoma. And an extra P5 team on a 9 game schedule instead of Mercer. While also playing an extra game winning their CCG against Wisky. The play offs are a nice first step but the system still needs work
Big Ten’s schedule indisputably better for fans than the SEC’sI would like to see the ACC go 9 game conference schedule. Out of this batch Bama has the weakest schedule hands down imo
Ohio State didn’t play an FCS team last year. 2 P5’s one being Oklahoma They went 11-2 with wins over #2 Penn State and #4 Wisconsin winning their conference championshipTotally disagree. Alabama benefitted because OSU lost by over 3 TD's to a sub-par Iowa TV. Oklahoma didn't kill them, OSU killed themselves.
SC still plays their conference Rivalry game vs Stanford every year same as cal. Still plays their home and home Rivalry with ND. And manages another P5 and no FCSBig Ten’s schedule indisputably better for fans than the SEC’s
From the link:
Georgia’s trip to Tiger Stadium has been referred to as an “almost mythical proposition.” Georgia’s next trip to Baton Rouge is scheduled for 2030, leading one Georgia fan to ask “who knows if I’ll be in any shape to make the next one?”
SEC sets 12-year non-division rotation
I, personally, would be super fine with getting USC or Washington (or any other PAC team) on the schedule every year. Had FCS teams put up better fights.SC still plays their conference Rivalry game vs Stanford every year same as cal. Still plays their home and home Rivalry with ND. And manages another P5 and no FCS
You would think the SEC could go 9 conf and play Georgia a lot more than they do. Or at least up their OOC SOS. Their SOS this year is literally on par with Oregon’s which is god awful this year
Who is going to go 11-1.
KSU isn't a quality win, that team is as milquetoast as it gets. Indiana is a more impressive win.
Kentucky is more justified in their ranking than PSU is theirs.
KSU looks as good as TCU to me....if they played in Kansas this year my money would be on KSU.
