Would Bell even want to go to the Jets? Would he even play for them? But clearly money is what he wants and the Jets have it.

I do question if Bell truly is in love with the game and really wants to play

Are you kidding, NY would be a great landing spot for him and his rap career!

The Jets make allot of sense. They have their starting QB on his rookie contract for a few years and can afford Bell. The division may be more up for grabs than previous years too.

The Colts have allot of cap space, but they would be putting themselves in a spot where Luck and Bell would be eating up too much space.

I would not give more than a 6th for Bell and it has nothing to do with talent. He is a UFA at the end of this season with a tag hit so high no team would be dumbe enough use it on him. Bottom line is that Bell is a rent til the end of the season type player.

Not sure what the Jets are thinking. Getting Bell does not make them SB contenders.
ticket sales.
Honestly dont know if the Jets sale out or not, but when you sign a big name between that & jersey sales & all of that. jets need something to root for. They got their QB (or so they think) & a running game is a young QBs best friend. it is a mold that has worked forever.

They also just lost to the Browns and need to do something extreme.
Like I said, it is not a bad move for the Jets. Bell is one of the best RB's in the league and he is young.

The Jets will give the Steelers a first and fourth. This is huge for them with the Giants having Barkley.
It's New York and if you can't go big, don't go at all, regardless of the cost.

If the Jets can get him, they will happily overpay.

Bell's latest pics show him pretty overweight and out of shape. I think whatever team trades for an aging, suspension risk, overweight and out of football shape RB is going to fail hardcore. Anything more than a 4th rounder and I'm giving that a clear F grade. Already giving an F grade for the impending contract.

green bay makes sense if they could sign him long term before the trade ... do they have the cap space after just paying rodgers?

Teams can't sign him long term until next offseason. He would have to play under the tag at this time.

The Steelers will sit on him rather than trade him for less than the 3rd rounder they'll get for losing him in free agency this winter.

What CB, ILB or Safety will the Jets trade for Bell?

That's what's needed.
