Still too early to call Dak a fraud?

Oh, you wanna be all "I'm a serious fucking sports fucker" all of a sudden?

Nobody gives a shit about Dez Bryant in a thread about Dak Prescott's suckassiness
"Cripple fight!"

I think Dak can still be good with the right weapons but all fucking summer I had to deal with a handful of Cowboy fans ripping me saying Wentz hasn’t proven himself to be better then Dak which was so incredibly ridiculous. Not even close in the talent/arm/moxie

All that being said, I'd like to see him take every Dallas snap for the next 10 years.

I'll show myself out....

$20 mill is now the minimum to pay a quarterback if you intend on him being your starter, and that would be an average or below-average NFL starter.

Dak is an ok NFL quarterback. He can do some good things if he has a lot of talent around him

Which, of course, just about any NFL QB can do. He has an elite RB, a supposedly elite OL (with some losses/injuries), and a bare bones receiver corps.

Chump change, literally

However, that chump change immediately limits a team's ability to add weapons/line help around that QB. Paying the wrong guy even that $20M sets your team back.

Good luck with that. You guys have a good Defense and a great RB. You will probably be picking mid-round.

If there is a guy you want - you make the move to get him. Unfortunately the college crop doesn’t look great at the moment. I just don’t understand giving 20 million a yr to an average player. Maybe he gets better, but the windows close quick in the NFL now.

Take Russell Wilson yesterday. He didn’t have a great game by any means. He made some erratic throws as well. He doesn’t have much around him either. The thing is though he made 3 outstanding throws. Dak probably doesn’t try any of the 3. I’m not knocking Dak. He is what he is.

Guys taken #15 or later the past few drafts:

2018 Lamar Jackson (has a ways to go to be a starter)
2017 Yikes, unless you like Mr Irrelevant Chad Kelly Need to trade up (Mahomes #10, Watson #12)
2016 Brissett, Dak (This is what got you into this situation
2015 Yikes
2014 Manziel (yikes), followed by Bridgewater, Carr, Garoppolo
2013 entire draft class sucked (best is Glennon?)
2012 Weeden and Osweiler (pukes in mouth), followed by Wilson, Foles, and Cousins
2011 Dalton, Kaepernick, Tyrod
2010 one QB draft class (Bradford at #1)

It has been 5 years since anyone that late (or later) has amounted to much. Cowboys would need to move up, and that would depend on the validity of the draft class.

Called him a fraud in his first year and was told by various Cowboys fans on this forum that: "you are jealous" despite us having RW so I have no clue wtf that was about.

I am sorry my friend you are mistaken. They were talking to me ...... Just kidding

I remember the outrage from some Cowboys (not all) fans who went nuts when I said that Dak was overrated. I maintained his entire rookie season that Zeke deserved most of the credit. I said Zeke should have been ROY and deserved the MVP accolades not Dak and again....some Cowboys fans went apeshit.

However.....I have to admit that I though that Dak was going to be a stud. That he and Wentz were the future of the position at least in the NFC and there would be some serious battles between them. I have to think that may not be the case any longer. I am not going to say that Dak is a bust because he was a 4th round pick but I think he may have been fools gold.

kinda shocking the subject content from the OP....LOL

"Granted, he has a bad offensive coordinator, subpar receivers and a "vaunted offensive line" that has started looking downright mediocre"

but nevermind that, doesn't factor, this 4th round draft pick won 13 games his rookie year and plays for Dallas.

Stand up Philly fans...you guys escaped 1-2 at home against the vaulted colts...this is Dallas, state you best shit

best part of this thread as usual, remains phoenix's statement. For the 1100th time, Dallas fans pointed out that through 2 seasons, stats wise, your guy hadn't shown to be the superiority you claimed all off season. Which remains true.

you boys enjoy yourself, 3 weeks in the books

I don't see a take there. Fraud or not?
