Its a rough estimate, but he is the MVP of the league, and he has made a huge difference in the standings

Nope. It's Trout and it isn't close.

Right handed hitter in Boston has better numbers than right handed hitter in NY. News at 11 lol.

Derp. Cornpoke from Iowa doesn't know a fucking thing about Fenway Park or Yankee Stadium.

His final half season in Detroit was the beginning of what he is right now. Exploded with the dbacks and now continuing that in a hitters paradise Fenway.

Fenway is not a hitter's paradise, it is a considered neutral by most metrics and women like you that know zero about baseball should stay in the minor league football threads.

Fenway is almost always in the top 10 for Park factor and has been in the top five 5 times since 2010.

Statistically yes

From a value to team results standpoint, JD is the MVP for me

Yankees aren't up by 7-10 games with their 105 win pace because of JD Martinez

Oh no doubt-arguably the best FA signing they've ever had.
he's 1A right now, behind the greatest right handed hitter i ever saw.

the angels are .500 with him

hes having a tremendous year, but take trout off the angels theyre still not competitive.

take martinez of the sox, they may be in 3rd.

martinez also has 22 more RBI on 10 more hits, and trouts played in 5 more games.

.846 OPS as a brewer

15 HR this year

awesome

I agonized over whether to keep him, I let him and Schoop go

Kept Seager, Bregman, Pham and Benediti

If not for the Seager injury, can't hate myself too much

that doesn't make him any less valuable. see my previous post, you're punishing him for having shittier teammates.

you think andre dawson deserved his MVP?

id have gone with ozzie smith or jack clark. they finished 2nd and 3rd. their team won 95 games. clark led the NL in walks and OPS, slugging and OBP.
the cubs finished dead last in 87.

Giancarlo Stanton
