Not sure trading away your starting LT to help get a QB is a wise decision. Maybe the Bills make it #21, #22, and next year's 1st?
This.

An arguably top 10 LT, and two 2018 first round picks is not appealing enough?Total BS. Giants would be stupid to do this deal for that #2 pick. The trade would need to include the bills number one and 2 in the 2019 draft as well to be fair value wise
Problem is outside of the Lucks and Peyton Mannings of the world, there is always some skepticism with the top QB's.....I dont think many people loved Goff or Wentz either, very rarely are there no brainer top QB's
That's the only way you really get a franchise QB. Getting one through free agency is extremely rare. Tyrod is likely out, and what FA QB out there is better than Tyrod? Betting on Foles or one of the Vikes QBs?
Perhaps the next...

I don't think Brees has any intention of leaving NE. He'll sign a very team friendly deal.
OT, OLB and CB are needs as well. Will Joe Thomas ever be the same? They also need a RT, but that can happen later in the draft typically.
At RB, they have their 3rd down receiver type locked up in Duke Johnson, but need to upgrade from Crowell IMO. Quality RBs can be had beyond the 1st round.
I think if the Browns know they want Barkley and dont see much seperation between Darnald and Rosen, they have to draft Barkley #1 and take their chances that one of the 2 is there at 4
It's a start.
Foles...everyone knows this story now...I'm not saying he's the second coming, but Idk that Rosen is either and I don't want to invest two 1st round pick + to find out.
You're a Steelers fan.
I'll do it, Deal! Send me the paperwork.
Up the ying-yang or not, they need to get maximum bang for those picks (1-31 is not showing promise). I would pass on Barkley at #4 as well and get better value at a different position. RB can be filled on day 2.
CLE needs players sir...good players. To hell with value at a position for them they have plenty of cap space too...they've had ample draft picks in the past and they're picking #1 overall back to back seasons. If you're finding me Barkley talent in the rd 2...I'm taking.
It's really weird because it isn't a new concept either. Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon just managed to revive an old (bad) idea. It's like people in this thread haven't heard of Alvin Kamara or Kareem Hunt. Nope those losers aren't worth it, got to get Barkley #1, or #4.
I've seen quite a bit of Sony Michele and Nick Chubb...Guice I saw once...to your point...Idk why you think Barkley is over rated, he seems to have the goods to be an impact player, but there are 5 or 6 guys in this draft that should be effective RBs in this league.
Definitely doesn't inspire confidence in their ability to evaluate QB's if they thought benching Tyrod was the right move if nothing else.
I get the sense this won't look too hot when the choice is:
A) Trade down to not draft Mahomes or Watson
1a) You get Tre'Davious White with pick you traded down to
B) Trade up the following year for Rosen (if this report is accurate) or one of Josh Allen and Mayfield.
