Yeah, but less than a yard on both so dunno

What shocked me was that he didnt sneak Brady on either, I never see that big doofus get stopped on a sneak
i think hes been stopped 2-3 times in his career

Sutton overloaded the A gap and had Bennie Logan there. Logan destroyed the center on the 2nd 4th down attempt. It would have been stuffed. They forced the Pats to run another play.

Yep. Chiefs had 8 guys in coverage pretty routinely. Pretty much daring the Pats RB's and WR's to win the game.

I thought they went away from a running game that seemed like it was rolling, a little too soon

I know you got Brady and throwing is your bread and butter, but they were having a lotta success on the ground for a bit

You would think that would be the case but CBS did an article where they explained how important Edelman is to Brady. Brady's gonna miss having him for the entire year, and don't be surprised to see Brady's stat line take a shit kicking if past history means anything. Brady becomes average without Edelman. Unbelievable but true.

From the article:
"In the previous three seasons, Brady has a 106.9 passer rating when Edelman's on the field. And in the nine games without Edelman, Brady's passer rating drops to 86.4 -- which is below the league average of 89.5."

Recent history provides one big reason why Tom Brady could struggle this season
And Brandin Cooks wasnt on the team for any of those games, either. I think it may be a bit of a learning curve, but Brady is good enough to adjust over time. His championship runs have transcended core groups of receivers around him.

That said, father time remains undefeated. He wouldnt be the first player in history to have a fairly sharp decline at the end of a great career.

Yeah, that's somewhat design, and somewhat the Chiefs are not the greatest run D in the world (Dee Ford is blah and the ILB's scare me) but up the middle with Logan and Houston right next to that is a big NOPE.

He wasn't being patient enough either. Instead of taking the underneath routes, he was throwing downfield more often.

trying too hard to keep the D honest. problem was, he barely completed any of them. 8 in the box was fucking the game plan up all night.

Yup, Im interested to see how Cooks fits

He has never been a high volume guy, he likes to stretch the field which simply isnt the Brady way, but seemed Brady was trying to force him some throws downfield

A couple of really nice dimes, but just not their thing

so, you actually watched...some people are saying he was covered by a LBer all night. unreal.

he will be fine.

Never said he was covered by a LB. Said he didn't show the speed to get away from a LB...the position that usually covers the TE.

I'd suggest learn football, but you struggled knowing the difference between 41 and 42.

i said "hump a point"

they gave up 41 to KC a few years ago, 42 last night.

i played in college (for a year and one spring), FYI...D3

and he was covered by a safety...so LBer coverage is moot. you really think because he had trouble with the games best cover safety, a random LBer will do the same?

Pats will be fine. KC is one of the 5 or 6 best teams in the league. Fir some reason people love to discount it overlook them but it's not shocking NE lost. The spread of the game was what was shocking to me , and also why I'm 1200 bucks richer today lol

did that at least cover you Super Bowl losses?

Where's the hundreds of Brady's-all-washed-up posts we endured that last time Brady sucked against the Chiefs?

I'm surprised the pussy Hammerdown didn't come out from under his therapy couch.

If he isn't fast enough to beat LB coverage he has no chance against a CB or S. So that means not moot.

And my 42 comment was factually correct and painfully specific. Using 41 instead as a way to say I'm wrong is lame.

that makes very little sense.
