I saw a guy hobbling down the field slower than he used to, so yes it does make sense. No longer does he require a safety and he showed taht last night. A LB'er can keep up with him now and matches up better size wise.

Allowing 21 unanswered points in the 4Q is completely unacceptable. So I think it is fair to say the Pats D sucked big time. Some flashes of excellent play by McCourtney and Gilmore, but the latter got burned bad on a long play. Zero pressure on Smith.
