That's possible. And if that's the case, Celtics FO has every right to be frustrated at the Cavs. But, the Cavs also have every right to make use of the full week and the option to void if they choose to.
No one is upset because the Cav's are exercising their right...

... they're upset because of 1.) the shady extortion attempt which is clearly going on and 2.) the shameless way they are dangling IT out there for public speculation in pursuit of goal #1.

Yep. And if they do choose to back out now...everybody's fucked. The only person in the trade not pissed off by that is the Brooklyn pick, and maybe Zizic but nobody gives a shit what he thinks.

id love for the deal to go through and for Thomas to be healthy....i love the deal for the Cavs if it goes through as is

if the Cavs somehow squeeze another asset out- so much the better

if it gets vetoed and the Cavs have to take a package from the Bucks that is better short term- but not as good overall or long term because they are afraid Thomas wont be able to help them this year- it wont be ideal- but it wont be the end of the world.

honestly- not exactly thrilled about giving Kyrie the whiner what he wants--- but- unlike the Pacers who made a deal that wasnt the best they could make since they iddnt want to send George to Boston or LA or Cleveland--- im glad the Cavs arent operating out of spite.

Crawford should be thrilled.

He goes from bench player to starting if the trade gets reversed.

He's wrong.

He gets it right, and then tries to ignore it and justify it away, but he fails miserably.

- kyri is not a top 10 player but got traded for a package worthy of one
- he's selfish and not the top dog on a title team
- can't play any d

the Cavs were atrocious when he was on the court without lebron.

Typical rule of etiquette is 24 hours on spoilers.
Be careful if you open this.
Blank fucks Blank at the end

I did not open your spoiler. I binge-watched episodes 1-5 of Season 7 last night through this morning. I'm going to watch the last two episodes tonight. I think Kyrie Irving is like Arya Stark, really young and dangerous, while IT is like Tyrion, a wise vet who, though undersized, can surprise you with his abilities.

He's a reporter. Meh.

And again, RPM had the Celtics dropping 6 games in their projections.

they're not better in 2017 or in 2020 with this deal.

On this point...

Cav's had no, or at the very least little, offensive system. Their system was 'LeBron and Kyrie can be Batman and Robin... surround them with shooters and it'll work itself out.'

Isn't it reasonable to hope that a great offensive player finally married to a great offensive coach will bring about improvement here?

I agree

As far as managing egos and player relations--- Ty Lue is a great coach

As far as defensive schemes- he is also pretty damn good

As far as offensive schemes--- he sucks balls---- all though- a lot of it just may be LeBron hijacking the offense- or Kyrie hijacking the offense.
