The only thing I believe in less than a chick on a sports chat site, is dudes who talk about how much money they make on a sports chat site.

You're probably pumping gas at the El Sobrante Shell.

That's convenient. That way you can craft whatever narrative suits your agenda, regardless of having zero proof.

Shows what you know. Right now I can keep making 100k plus a nice bonus with one of the majors in my industry. Or I can go to a smaller company owned by a friend who's buying out his dad. Make twice my salary plus 40% of the profits at the end of the year.

$5 million profit / 2 to put back into company for line of credit. 40% of 2.5 million isn't good?

That's a petty steep upgrade in pay plus I get to build something as well. This is why you can't really compare playing basketball and an everyday job

Keep your bullshitting up tho. Btw in a good year his dad's company profited $36 million and was split 2 ways ;)
So.... you just went to an already established company to work like a pussy then?

So the Celtics were able to draft Bird, although he was returning to college?
Stupid question, is that still permitted?
(Not that it matters because every guy that is ready to jump, jumps)

It is not permitted now.

Larry's situation at that time was unique because he had started at Indiana ... dropped out early in the year and worked for almost a year. Then had a redshirt year at Indiana State -- then played 2 years at Ind St. Then he was drafted. (so it wasn't like the Celtics drafted him with less than 4 years in college) Larry then went back to Ind. State for his senior year.

I get that, but the way that RW reacted tells me that they probably weren't as close as most thought-or as close as Pau & Kobe.

...

But the Shaq / Kobe breakup wasn't quite as smooth.

Rodman led the league in rebounding every year he played for the Bulls.

"End of his career"
That was literally all he was signed to do. They decided that was more important to their team than more offense. Especially since they didn't have a legit big in the middle.

And I get that too- but being upset shouldn't lead to acting like he's the enemy in the media or press. That's why I say he's pretty immature.

KD is a grown man who is capable of making decisions without needing another grown man's approval. :D

Maybe.

But, if that's the case, why was he scared to talk to Russ? Why did he hide in his bed for 2 days afterwards?

That's not the actions of a " grown man ".

Still, nothing that came after changes the fact that Durant is either a liar about their closeness or a coward for not being able to be honest.

Say what you want about Lebron. But, he never did his "brothers " like that.

What Perkins didn't appreciate about Durant's decision, though, is how Durant did not tell Westbrook face to face that he was leaving. Westbrook said he heard the news like everyone else and received only a text message from Durant saying goodbye as he moved on to the Warriors.

"You a man," Perkins said. "You decide, the decision you want to make. But at the end of the day, it's about how you go about it. You don't send Russ a text and say, 'Hey, I'm going to the Warriors.' No. You do it like LeBron James did when he left Miami. He went down, and he sat and had dinner with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade to tell them that he was leaving. That he was going to sign with Cleveland. That's what you do. That's what you do.

"That carries a long way. It don't take you nothing to call Nick Collison and Russell Westbrook and go and sit down and have a conversation with them and say, 'Hey guys, look. It's been fun. I still love y'all like my brothers, but I'm going to Golden State.' "
