Is that what I'm doing? Singing the praises of Kyle Korver by telling you that he is better than Paxon or Kerr?

By all means, feel free to see for yourself.

Kyle Korver Stats | Basketball-Reference.com
Steve Kerr Stats | Basketball-Reference.com
John Paxson Stats | Basketball-Reference.com

John Paxson averaged a little over 6 points in his playoff career

Kyle Korver averaged a little over 8 points in his playoff career

Both as relevant or ir-relevant to the careers of Jordan and James

To say he or Kerr arent "In Korvers' class" is laughable

You're on crack the Warrior we're losing to the Spurs without Leonard

They were just in back to back finals without Durant, beating a team with Durant and Westbrook, now Durants the reason they are going to the finals?

Drugs

Here's what we know

Lebron left a Cleveland team that went to the Finals

That same team the following season had the fewest wins in the NBA and the #1 pick the following season

No, he left a Clevleland team that lost in the Eastern Conference Semi Finals in 6 games.

Seems like you make up a lie in damn near every post your making.

Isn't this the same guy defending LeBron James every move?

How did LeBron look in Cleveland's only loss this postseason?

Now that game was Korver's fault?

Yeah. The dumb is strong in this one.

No, i would never blame or credit Kyle Korver with any win or loss, he is the definition of mediocre ir-relevancy

He is only brought up by idiots that have an agenda to knock down Lebron

Id bet my savings account that youre one of those guys that was yelling about the greatness of Matthew Dellavadova last season cause he hit a couple of jumpers, while Lebron was putting up a triple-double

You guys are funny

And they had the #1 pick the year after he left, with the worst record in the NBA

Which was the real point

In the Finals.

Figured that was a given.

Why should that be a given? Does Jordan win his 2nd title, if they they don't get by the Knicks in game 7? Does Jordan win his 6th title if they don't get by the Pacers in game 7? Luc Longley & Pippen score 5 points in the last minute vs the Pacers in Game 7 to stave off elimination.

Jordan went and played basesball, the Bulls were a Kukoc jumper from going to the ECF against the Knicks

Lebron leaves Cleveland, they win the lottery

You guys are funny

I'm not the guy that brought up Korver. That dope Dorian whatever his name is did. Please don't lump me in with that idiot or the guy who started this thread.

I really just thought you went overboard when you started saying things names like Paxon and Kerr. You dropped yourself to Dorians level when you did that.

Both guys had good teams. The difference is, in this day and age, former all star veterans jump ship to ride the bench of super teams now. That didn't happen in Jordan's era.

I brought up Paxson and Kerr because he used a guy like Kyle Korver as a reason why the Cavs would still go to the Finals without Lebron........

No its a different era with the stars jumping, but its not different in the sense that for as long as I can remember, its always been a small handful of teams that had a real shot at winning big in the league...Whether it was the Celtics and Lakers forever, or the Bulls/Pistons era....Still a star driven league

The East is baaaaad. :L

Goodness that Celtics team that beat the Cavs last night? MIght be the worst team to ever step on the floor for an Eastern conference finals game. And the Celtics with IT are possibly the worst team to ever win the Eastern conference.

Regular season needs to be fewer games so guys like Lebron can take it seriously night in and night out.

Yeah, the Celtics are so bad that they have beaten the Warriors on their home floor back to back seasons. Same for Cleveland. And just beat the Cavs on their home floor despite the fact that they're missing their best player.

Yeah, they really suck.

I guess things like coaching and hustle and ball movement and hard work don't count for anything.

Ray carried the Bucks the ECF and was screwed by the refs in that series vs the 76ers. Then he carried the Sonics to the WCF vs the Spurs with a bunch of scrubs outside of Rashard Lewis. The only reason they didn't beat the Spurs was because the little bit ch in Bruce Bowen stuck his foot underneath Ray's on a jumper which twisted his ankle.

Ray Had trash teams and always had to beat a team and the refs. He was traded to the Celtics initially and didn't decide to join another team like Lehype did. Then when he joined Miami was because the Celtics virtually kicked him out as he was on the trading block every year.
You have a point.

Several actually. But, he was onboard with the Boston trade from Seattle and the Celtics offered him more money than Miami.

But, yeah.....

He was being marginalized as a person and a player in Boston.

So, it's not hard to understand why he bolted.

Allen rejected a two-year, $12 million contract with a no-trade clause from Boston to accept a two-year, $6 million deal with the Miami Heat and was vilified in the process by fans and his former teammates.

If they lost Barnes and Bogut and didn't add Durant
They would have added pieces as useful as Barnes and bogut

So they would have had almost the same team as they did last year -- when they set the NBA record for most wins.

I find it funny how important people think Bogut was vs. the Cavs. Last year, we averaged 12 minutes / game in the finals before he got hurt. The previous year, we didn't get off the bench the last 3 games in the finals. (except for 2 minutes)

Agreed. Those teams were built organically though through smart drafting and reaping the benefit of other teams stupid drafting.

The Celtics traded the #1 pick in the draft to Golden State for the #3 pick and Robert Parish.

The Warriors drafted Joe Barry Carroll. The Celtics drafted Kevin McHale.

2 years earlier, the Celtics used the #6 pick on Larry Bird, even though they knew they wouldn't get him until a full year later, as he returned to ISU.

Some pretty creative team-building there.

Exactly my point

The other guy was trying to act as if Durant is responsible for GS going to the finals

So the Celtics were able to draft Bird, although he was returning to college?

Stupid question, is that still permitted?

(Not that it matters because every guy that is ready to jump, jumps)

He most likely took less money because slightly more money with Boston wasn't worth playing for a team that didn't respect him and have fights with Doc and Rondo. Dude sacrificed more from his game than any of the BIG 3. In the end it's a business and he made a business decision and left. If he could I'm sure he would've stayed with the Bucks his entire career if they would've let him.
