The team is an abject mess....and the lack of urgency from all parties involved has set the tone...it may be too late to catch up considering that Burrow is clearly compromised. I don't think I would even put him at 70% right now.

What happened yesterday falls 100% on Taylor. Yes, players need to make plays, but there seems to be very little creativity and adjustments made with a limited Burrow. The amount of deep routes run while Burrow was getting swarmed yesterday was criminal. Too many plays where there wasn't a safety valve option for him to get ride of the ball quickly. His inability to extend plays in the pocket is killing the deep game, and even if he can get a pass off, his lack of leg use is killing his accuracy.

Let's also not forget Taylor keeping him in a game that they were never going to win in the 4th qtr down 3+ scores...

Burrow should be sat until the Bye week. Hope you get lucky and limp into it at 2-4, get Burrow back with 3+ weeks of rest and hopefully some full practices leading up to Buff and 49ers....otherwise....the season is shot.

1st, they should be better in other areas.
running the ball
defense
really 2 areas that have nothing to do with Burrow
Plus, really, don't you want to play a guy with 2 good legs at QB? get Macaron in there right? He can throw pretty good

I would give McCarron a little time before throwing him to the wolves. when he was here before the offense was different, I think.
Browning would be the best choice for a little while.

Give McCarron time to study the playbook and he could be a long term solution as the backup.

How long term? He is 35 years old.

2 weeks. Browning or AJ...don't care.

He needs to sit. He needed to go on IR, IMO....hope that you can win 1 or 2 games...sitting at 2-4, but a healthy burrow is much better going into Buff/49ers than sitting at 2-4, and Burrow is still gimping around...

McCarron just turned 33. That's not too old by quality NFL back-up standards. The bigger issue with McCarron is whether or not he has anything to really give to the NFL at this point. I thought he did a good job for us in 2015 - He could have performed better in the first half of that playoff game, but the weather was a significant factor. Unfortunately after leaving the Bengals, he never really caught on anywhere and it makes you wonder if he really has enough skills to win games if called into action.

didn't realize that.

hell, I feel old now.

maybe a few years until we can afford to draft another one.
Got to remember, AJ was the backup to Dalton, and left when Dalton was still here, I think...so, it's been a hot minute

he was playing in the XFL for a bit earlier this year. I think he hit a lineman with a chair and gave him an elbow drop.

he had some highlights and good games, I don't think his team won the league championsip, but I would have to check.

his wife is still cute
Extremely cute. May have the best looking wife in the NFL.

But my God, how can a professional athlete and a woman that looks like that have 6 full squeezable containers of Hellman's Mayo in their house?

Now, if they looked like me, I can understand.

there's comfort in having other train wrecks, lol
