I don't watch the Oscars, ever, but I'm curious to know if the #MeTo crowd applauded when the rapist accepted his award?

He could win a Grammy for a rap album, an Emmy for broadcasting, and a Tony for writing the musical called "Consensual in Colorado"
Kobe is ridiculously talented, there's no doubt about that, however it just seems odd that this " me too" crowd gave him an Oscar and and just curious if there was any backlash about it.
Haven't seen any backlash about it, but it was being questioned a bit on the radio when I was driving in this morning.
The only reason I think they may have been quiet is because Kobe's was a 1 time thing (as far as anyone knows) whereas the others have multiple offenses spread out over decades.
Be careful about calling it a one time thing to those who are passionate about it. I'm not being serious, but obviously you know that they would take you as saying that everyone gets one time. But I also think that the fact that he is unlikely to receive another award for the Oscars, may have played into it.
