Offensively, this is going to be all about our rush attack as Detroit is terrible against the run and we're on the road with a healthy Penny, Carson, Davis. This provides the best opportunity for us to slow down a lethal Lions pass attack. The Lions did pick up Snacks Harrison but whatever... that's one guy coming into a new scheme. He could go off, but I don't think he'll transform the D overnight. This should afford some good playaction for Wilson who is one of the top playaction QBs in the NFL according to PFF.
Defensively, it's going to be a tough day for the secondary though if we can't get pressure on Stafford. Forcing them into 3rd and long will be key as Stafford is one of the worst QBs this year on 3rd down throws. The Lions most effective passing attack is out of the slot so KJ Wright will be a HUGE asset coming back and we will need all the help we can from Wagner and our nickel corners.
