You gotta pitch. And not dig holes you can't climb out of- some of that is good D, the Reds have that, the 90 loss teams didnt. Hustle-they have that, at least from players. The dugout, not so much. Sometimes they ask players without shovels to dig holes.

Reds gotta keep winning. They have easy schedule now, but play 13 games with Pirates and Cards yet. In charge of their own destiny. Can't ask for more opportunity than that.

Reds gotta win every game they can. Gibson takes losing like a club fighter. The Snakes don't have enough horses for the long haul, IMO...but they can thump anyone in a series. If the Reds want to do something, they have to keep winning series, no matter who it is. No quarter.

But in that particular series? 2 of 4 is a Reds win as far as holding on to a playoff spot goes.

Don't like looking past the Brewers, But AZ is going to be coming to Cincinnati on a mission. I hope the Reds are up to it. Only need 2, but more would be nice, and at least 2 more from the Brewers.
