That Pederson kid on the Dodgers has been a surprise too...

He doesn't have the hype of Bryant, but Pederson has been the ROY, so far. Only problem is that he strikes out like 40% of the time. That might get old...especially for a leadoff hitter!

Try thinking outside the box....
A good offense can score the runs needed to negate numerous sub par outings by a particular pitcher.....and his defense..as you must well know, provides the necessary fielding acumen to save his ass many times over.

Outside the box. You're a funny fella.

Offense does nothing to negate sub-par outings, unless some dumb fuck is considering wins/losses while evaluating pitchers.

That was awful!! I don't think I have seen anything quite like that before(at least that I can remember). The doctors are saying that she is going to survive. Who knows how bad the injuries are, but at least she isn't going to die from that. How scary.

That was fucking horrible. As I understand it, she was with her husband/young child? Hits too close to home for me.

Maybe someday, TD. I haven't watched any NBA in about 4-5 years and I don't plan on starting now.

I have known several guys who really followed college ball, but didn't like NBA. To me, though, you really get to see just how much better players like Curry, Irving, and Davis are when they play pro than they were in college. Not that I'm trying to promote NBA, of course.

he is a very good player

he is

but hes not on the same court as MJ, and the league is so different now vs jordans prime...you cant compare it.

i am trying to find the stat i heard about lebron late in finals games, like 0-5 or 0-6 in the final minute too.

the press conferences after are getting really funny too. its ALLLLLLLLLLLL about you, lebron.

"Very good" player? Why the irrational Lebron hate? I don't care, either way, but I think Lebron is better and more dominant than Jordan. He doesn't have the same killer instinct, but there is nobody else like Lebron that I have ever seen.

Getting to 5 straight Finals with 3 different teams? Did I hear that right?

I keep saying I don't see this lasting and then he goes out and pitches another gem. Crazy.

Yesterday was a day game too!! His era at night is like low to mid 1s.

Added a split finger pitch and so far so good.

It's fucking crazy.

I used to have a somewhat heated debate with a guy in a fantasy league over Hughes vs Pelfrey. After years, we decided 'fuck it, they both suck." Then they both turn it around a year apart from each other, both in MIN. Good for you guys.

Hell, for that matter, please fill me in on how any team's offense has helped one of their pitchers. An example would be great.

this is why the nba sucks

LeBron James takes the basketball for a walk in a blatant-looking uncalled travel - SBNation.com

I'm no Lebron fan but he got hammered several times and there was no call last night. I was shocked.

Offense doesn't do anything for a pitcher, unless you're talking about the opposing offense.

Run support does tend to help the win column. Just sayin

Phil Hughes did something similar last year. interestingly, it was with the Twins as well.

Hughes is a right handed fly ball pitcher. Not a good combo for Yankee Stadium. Minn's new park is a much better place for him.
