If Mahomes can avoid a serious injury and continue to shine he should be a lock of the HOF.

So you’re saying that Wentz has more total touchdowns?

Let’s review the record:

Approx. 5000 more passing yards
21 more passing TDs
17 more INTs (Wentz gets credit for taking risks and being a gunslinger)
Twice as many 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives
1 AMVP
Each have 1 Super Bowl win
Wentz has been sacked 84 more times than Mahomes which shows he is tougher
48 fumbles to 12 fumbles, which just shows that Mahomes is a ball hog. Wentz is always willing to give it up.
More rushing yards
More receptions and receiving yards
Has never thrown an INT in the playoffs

If Mahomes gets in, Wentz is a shoe-in.

Now HOFers get credit for INTs LMAO

So he gets credit for bad decision. This from the same tool that wanted to exclude time from the SB game to allow Mahomes a sure lock for MVP.

The part of knowyourenemy's comment that you highlighted. Talk about a good laugh. I have never heard of an active QB getting credit for taking risks & being a gunslinger. The last QB I can think of that's called a gunslinger was Favre. And he threw alotta int's. But he was exciting to watch.

Yeah Brett came to mind but he sure didn't get credit for the INTs and if to say. Hey it's okay he took a risk and just sailed one down field. Not what you want in a QB,.

I know why Wentz will be better than Mahomes. He won a ring first.

Hey Wentz was still on the team. So technically he got a ring before Mahomes.

True and he's a gunslinger so apparently we have to give him credit.???

I'm not giving him credit for all those int's. But it seems like a certain Eagles fan has.

Rich Gannon agrees. He was very generous during S.B. 37. 5 or 6 int's. Now that's what I call sharing.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but my half assed Internet research suggests that the only QB to win both a Super Bowl and an MVP is Earl Morrall.

Having said that, if he were to take a huge dip in performance that might prevent him from getting into the Hall.

maybe i'm not understanding what you are saying but there have been a TON of players that have won league MVP and also a SB in their career.

I had no clue so had to do my research and due diligence and shows 6

Only eight players have won the Super Bowl and MVP in the same season, Bart Starr in 1966, Terry Bradshaw in 1978, Joe Montana in 1989, Emmitt Smith in 1993, Steve Young in 1994, Brett Favre in 1996 Terrell Davis in 1998 and Kurt Warner in 1999.
