If Patrick Mahomes retired tomorrow, do you think he should be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

1 MVP award
1 Super Bowl win
1 Super Bowl MVP award

That’s already equal to or greater than the vast majority of NFL quarterbacks, some of whom are already in the Hall.

Give him a few more years. We've seen better or as good stretches in careers before, albeit never this good to start a career.

The answer is an absolute no unless he gets his leg amputated and he physically can't play. And in that even if, I give it like a 1% chance just because of T.Davis and Gale Sayers.

By the standards the Hall of Fame currently has, he is in already. If the Hall of Fame had reasonable standards, then he would have to perform at a high level for at least five more years, IMO. He's had two excellent seasons and he's either the best or number 2 behind Wilson right now. I want to see at least 7 excellent seasons before I say someone is a Hall of Famer, especially at the QB position, where longevity is expected more than at other positions.

Believe it or not- Mahomes was actually robbed at gunpoint his rookie year after the draft. So this is kind of a weird comment I realize given that almost kinda happened, but much worse.

Yeah, we've had HOF'ers have better stretches [albeit not to begin] than Mahomes' start to his career his first 35 games or whatever it is now. Granted, it's guys like prime Peyton Manning, amongst other inner circle types, but it has happened.

Lets see what he can do without all that talent around him, which will happen after he gets his $400M

I'd put him in that same class as Bo Jackson if he retired today...

Nobody! I am pointing out there are HOF QB's who had better stretches in their careers. He's in the Bo Jackson zone right now.

I think Manning was pushing 90+ some odd TD's in a 30 or so game stretch. Mahomes didn't crack 80.

oh oh oh sorry. i misread. Stretches for a period, yeah theres been a few, but shit, look at the guys that did it. Start to a career, no one! But in all honesty, with an NFL MVP, superbowl MVP, and a superbowl ring. If terrel davis gets in while having 3 great years, 1 good year. Mahomes should be in

Peyton Manning had 101 fucking touchdowns total, including postseason games.

Two seasons.

Mahomes' gaudy postseason stats get him up to 96 total touchdowns over 36 games.

Three seasons

Auto lock. He's done some pretty amazing things early in his career (in part from one of the best offensive coaches in NFL history) and should continue. That said, if Terrell 'ACL' Davis can get in the HOF, anyone is game.

Mahomes will get in, even if his career ended today. He can also check the 'diversity box' which as a QB will get him a 43.2% boost in approval ratings.

Disclaimer: Guys, I don't think that way.. it's just how lame and gay (yep I said it) our PC culture and the NPL (National Politics League) is.

Yeah Warner got in for having 5 good seasons so I fully expect Mahomes to be a HOF'er.
