Ahh... I think that would be too soon... If we wanted him that bad, I still think we could trade down a few picks to get him while picking up another pick or two... Like you, I really like him but i'd rather have Carter or Will Anderson at #2 if we were to be a defensive player there...

I keep telling myself that as well... But then I look and see that the Skins and Giants aren't really playoff ready teams either... So then I think, why not us then as a WC team...

960 yards in the last 5... That has to be a record... Sad thing is, outside of J. Adams being lost in game 1, we've pretty have had the same personnel the rest of the season... It's not like injuries are to blame on this short fall... Is coaching not putting the players in the right position to make plays? Did they make the switch to 3-4 too soon? Coaching is a huge reason for this... They're not adjusting to the personnel we have imo...

K, after losing that game to fucking Darnold (lol), I now hope we lose out the rest of the season and don't make a WC slot. This team needs LOTS of talent changes on the roster before next year.

And no, I'm not (at this time) for going in on a high level QB with our first pick. Get the big dog pass rusher, get the deadly LB. Load up on pieces.

The FINALLY get some guys to short up the O line and let the defense basically entirely fall apart.

That pretty much sums it up and the silver lining would be the better draft position, but still going to sting to witness it happen.

Yeah, at this point I can't see us winning more than 2 games (specifically Chiefs/Niners)... On paper, we don't stand a chance against the Niners but as we've seen... Divisional games are very unpredictable...

All it would take is for us to get a guy like, Christian Wilkins and it would improve our DL incredibly... There are great DL in the 1st 10 picks of the draft... If we get 1 of them, it will make a huge difference in how we approach things defensively... We need a disrupter in a bad way...

we are definitely going to need to spend money in FA, which we should have even if we keep Geno. its very unlikely anybody breaks the bank for him.

I would also not trade down, just take whichever elite defender is there when we pick
