That’s immaterial and actually shows better depth in the East. Miami was the one seed last year and was banged up this year. They’ve been to the Finals 2 of the last 4 and ECF 3 of the last 4. The Lakers were a 7th seed that was a 13 seed prior to the trade deadline and got hot after the deadline in part because they play in a dog shit conference. It is what it is but the East was definitely better than the West this year.
