And so it begins. lol

Agents dropping the Laker name to drive the price up and/or lazy reporters dropping old news as new. Lakers aren't getting FVV, Kuzma, Dame or Trae. CP3 as the vet min? Sure, but still unlikely.

They got the contracts and 17 to land Paul

CP3 would be okay as long as they stick with the idea of picking him up on a vet min deal.

Ideally, he wouldn't have to play too many minutes and would be able to keep Lebron from having to run the offense all the time.

The Lakers could have used a steady hand like his vs. Denver. Reaves and Schroder did okay in that role and Lebron seemed to trust them. But neither of them have CP3's decision making or experience.

The problem though is his injuries. It seems like he gets hurt in the playoffs every season. Even when he's had a relatively healthy regular season.

They can do better with that #17 than CP3. That wouldn't even be part of the discussion. The Wiz got 2nds and swaps for Beal, they're not getting a 1st for CP3.

No doubt. But you know there will be plenty of folks (both Lakers fans and non-Lakers fans) that eat this crap up.

Yeah, I don't want the Lakers to trade for him at all. Imo, it should be on a vet min or not at all.

Some people think he is getting 18-21 mill per.....I don't think that but think it's likely he gets 13-15 mill per.

Draymond Green opted out of a $27M player option. Does that make sense to anyone?

He is 33 years old, in obvious decline and is a locker room cancer. I dont think he is worth that on a 2 year deal.....let alone a single year deal. Something stinks here.

He is looking for a 3 year deal worth about 48-52 mill I believe.

2 years and 27 mill would be a bargain for him. He plays defense, passes and rebounds.....a true glue guy.

If he'll play for the vet minimum then he can go to better team than the Lakers. He could come to the Sixers and then he and Harden could play every other game to keep both old farts fresh.

I guess he could.

But you said he could go to a better team than the Lakers.
