Going forward into next season

AB posted some way too early point spreads out for this upcoming season. The only games that VT is an underdog is vs. Clemson and FSU.

Those spreads largely make sense at this point. FSU and Clemson are basically pickems this far in advance for me. I'll be surprised if its Hokies -9 on opening day though. I'll also be surprised if we beat Austin Peay by more than 47 points on short rest (given what the team will have to put into that GT game, plus second stringers in).

Looks like the guy is spreading himself too thin. Knows that Coles hasn't been healthy, but doesn't know that he's probably our best returning WR? Doesn't even mention Tariq or Bruce? etc.

Tech is #103, mostly due to being one of the lowest in the nation in OL starts but also low in number of SRs at #2 in the depth chart. IMO, besides OL, the staff does a great job in balancing experience and talent.

seems awfully ambitious for us because of our (new) OL history. I don't necessarily agree with the 19-21 projections either based on our D and skill positions. Would think 13-16 is reasonable.

Top 20, yes.

Top 10, only if Thomas has worked out ALL the kinks and can get rid of the ball quickly, and VT can establish a solid running game. The offensive line would have to step up BIG TIME to get them into the top 10.
